What is up with Vermont? They send a Socialist back to the House, and the same state that voted for Howard Dean sends a Republican to the Governor's Mansion.

I know the previous Vermont Lt Governor (a part-time job) was held by a Republican, Air Guard Fighter Pilot, and full time airline pilot (that is too many jobs).

The colors for all the states are based on current votes that are tabulated. It doesn't mean a state is called. As precincts report in the colors can change accordingly. They have NY blue with a 13000 kerry total to an 8500 bush total.

Broward is 63% reporting. Bush still ahead. Duval is offsetting a good deal of Broward.
