As I and many of my fellow expatriates are often hard pressed to get any non-biased information from the media (we are often stuck with CNN-International!!), I have decided to start this thread in the tradition of the Operation Iraqi Freedom Situation Room threads. I hope this meets with the approval of Jim & John and the Admin guys . . .
The purpose of this thread is to be a place to collect information from all sources into one area for discussion. Specific threads for specific topics and cross linking are highly encouraged.

Thanks for the post, Chad, but this map would be much better if it reflected the poll closings in local time. I know that isn't anything you did. :)

My ex lives in Arbutus, which is Erlichs old neighborhood. Unfortunatley, she and the rest of Arbutus will be voting for Kerry..

Our oldest (11) went with my wife to vote. My daughter said "Mommy, how do you vote?" My wife said "Come with me and see."

Ain't gonna happen though. My wife called to let me know that most of the Dems showed up in force about 45 minutes into the poll's opening. Go W!

Voted for Bush in Roswell, GA, this morning at Elkins Pointe Middle School. No long lines, but they said it was a lot busier earlier. I got there around 9:45, I was in and out in 5 minutes.
I didn't see any signs or intimidation efforts. The GA law prohibits any campaign materials (including T-shirts, buttons, etc) within 150 ft of the polling place. I had my camera ready just in case, but didn't see anything wrong.

I just got back from voting-woo hoo!!
There were 50 people in line when I go there at 6:50 am, and 100 people in line waiting when I got out. I usually see 5 people. This is huge(hugh).
It feels good! yeah!!

Ditto here - homeschooling civics lesson, been priming my 14yo dd for this for months with Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Rush, and Sean. "We" voted at 9AM in a Philly suburb. No one except the folks handing out literature was discussing their votes.
Moveon pac was located 10ft outside the poll doors, but they were being ignored. My neighbor, who votes reliably pro-abortion and will vote for Kerry, was in line with me (half-hour wait) and didn't have a clue who moveon pac is, which was interesting.
An interesting note; I've voted at this polling place for 10 years, so I don't have to show ID, I just have to sign. The poll worker didn't even compare my sig with the one on file, so if there is voter fraud this precinct will never know.
