PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE III (live thread)
10.13.04 | Joe, and the rest of FR.

Posted on 10/13/2004 5:19:44 PM PDT by Joe Hadenuf

45 minutes to go. If there is already a live debate thread go ahead and delete this.

I understand posting a live thread has become a somewhat of a political ordeal here, when it shouldn't be. So to take the pressure off, I'm posting this anyway. Do I dare? LOL!

Kerry: "one percent of America got 89 billion dollars last year in a tax cut." Bush: "Mitch McConnell had a minimum wage plan that I supported to raise the minimum wage"

The state of Oregon pays over $7 an hour for a minimum wage and they have one of the highest unemployment rates in the country.

OH GOD!!

The gap between rich and poor is increasing (bullshit!)

should we raise minimum wage?

Kerry: of course 7 dollars an hour (I will have to lay off two workers myself if that happens). Kerry rants again about the rich getting tax cuts

women work for less money ($.76 an hour). Hmmm, maybe I should lay off my male employees and hire women? Could I pay them less.

Bush: lame lame lame answer. moves in to education

Kerry was so anxious to dodge the immigration question, that he spent his time going back to the previous question on tax cuts. He was supposed to address the subject of immigration, but he didn't seem to care and neither did Schieffer.
