45 minutes to go. If there is already a live debate thread go ahead and delete this.
I understand posting a live thread has become a somewhat of a political ordeal here, when it shouldn't be. So to take the pressure off, I'm posting this anyway. Do I dare? LOL!

Bush is correct heathcare is rising because 3rd parties manage our lives.
Best to have a doctor patient relationship and eliminate the middle man who makes his lively hood by managing.

Bush's health answer is excellent. He seems to have mastered this topic.

Health Care Costs Question 9
Bush says he sure hopes it is not the fault of the administration. This did not look good. He has got to knock off the "Bert and Ernie" laugh a la Dana Carvey.
Bush mentioning health savings accounts. Bush slamming trial attorneys. Wants medical liability reform. Slams Kerry on his response in the last debate. Bush says we need to introduce high technological innovations. Bush is not as comfortable with this topic.
Bush wants to move drugs to market quicker.

The last thing a politician does on the national level is blatantly question another mans faith, you can drop hint or other work arounds but to question it directly on national tv is no-no.

BARF ALERT! kerry just shamelessly qouted James chapter 2 ("faith without works is dead") entirely out of context.
in context, the passage teaches the exact OPPOSITE of what kerry implied. James teaches that we would know a person's faith BY their works, i.e., BIBLICAL works whih are consistent WITH christianity (as opposed to, say, partial birth abortion and gay marriage, a-hem).
Bush did well on the social issues (DOMA, etc.), and on addressing ted kennedy as being the "conservative" senator frm Mass, lol!

I always want to puke when I hear someone say they used to be an altar boy -- esp. when they're currently living such a "Christian" life, hehehe. When they dump wife number one and move on to richer game -- when they promote abortion and judicial activism under the guise of tolerance. Makes me puke every time.

I am real sick of that moderator trying to throw this debate by making it look like it's Bush's fault when Kerry is the one who keeps going off track.

I TOTALLY agree with you. Kerry's getting much more time on some of these issues. AND he's not being called on "going back" to prior questions or statements.

I'm really turned off by Shieffer on this debate. Am I the only one? Nope. He's a jerk. So far, to both candidates.
