Navy Stripped Kerry Of Security Clearance!!!!!! Unauthorized Contacts With Enemy Agents!

Kerry Lost Security Clearance!

Just spoke with reporter friend in DC. She is talking with former USN ONI types who worked on DOD/USN investigation that resulted in total loss of Kerry’s Navy security clearance.

Kerry had been granted a Top Secret by the Navy on October 11, 1967 based on a routine background investigation by Office of Naval Intelligence. A top secret clearance was required for his work at that time.

Obtaining and holding a security clearance of any level, especially TS or above, requires certain terms, obligations, commitments and conditions from the holder. One of the most important is the holder of the clearance must promptly and fully any contacts with any foreign officials, agents, etc.

Lieutenant Kerry left active duty with the Navy on January 3, 1970, but he still carried those obligations as a commissioned officer of the Naval Reserve. Without telling anyone and without receiving permission from superiors,FBI or counter-intelligence officers, he traveled to Paris in the summer of 1970. He claimed the purpose of his trip was a honeymoon with his first wife, Julia Thorne, but there was another hidden purpose.

Numerous North Vietnamese and Viet Cong intelligence agents and officials were in Paris, having arrived a year earlier for the “Peace Talks.” While in Paris, Kerry met with agents on a number of occasions and had extensive discussions with them about U.S. plans, procedures and how to get the U.S. to essentially surrender in Vietnam.

These clandestine meetings were never reported to the Navy.

Almost a year later, in April 1091, speaking as the leader of the Vietnam Veterans Against The War, Lieutenant Kerry told a Senate hearing about his meetings with enemy agents. Senior DOD officials wanted to prosecute him as a Naval Reserve officer for violating a number of laws and regulations, but this was vetoed by the Nixon White House. They didn’t want to give the anti-war crowd any additional PR ammunition.

However, the Navy immediately pulled Kerry’s security clearance. He became a Naval Reserve officer who was known not to be trusted. He kept his commission, but lost all access to any classified information. In the words of one of the now-retired agents, “Lieutenant Kerry wasn’t cleared to know what time it was!”

The bottom line is, Kerry was on the Intelligence Committee of the Senate after the Paris fiasco and another trip to support the Moscow-backed Sandinistas in Nicaragua.

Today, he couldn’t get a security clearance to pull KP duty, but he wants to be Commander in Chief of all our military in the War on Terrorism!

This isn't going to cut any ice with the typical Kerry voter. Might fire-up Bush's turnout or sway a few undecideds. That might be important in a close election -- without vote fraud.

. I cannot believe we have had someone sitting on the Intelligence Committee that had
his clearance stripped by the Navy.

It might be like handling radioactive material...
...but if Dubya/Rove could "word-craft" it correctly...
It's time to stick Kerry into the figurative prison-cell that he's earned...
"ENEMIES...DOMESTIC"

Dubya should make it clear...Kerry is SO PASSE' (pardon the French)...
He's still living in the past and hoping to appease the Soviets and their
minions in Vietnam.

Sounds like a DOD clearance -- not that big of a deal.

I'm not sure if you're being serious or not, so I'm not trying to bust your chops. But, a Top Secret security clearance carries the trust of the nation, and thus, also carries serious consequences for a violation of that trust. Jail time and monetary fines are explicitly mentioned for such a violation. Mine is still valid for a few months even though I've been out of the Intell Community since 9/11 (just through a quirk of timing I scheduled my last day at my previous job for that date), and I'm looking forward to a loosening of the pucker factor!

The trap to all this is 'it was Nixon out to get me'. The MSM will use this line, even if it all proves true. Count on it.

Exactly right. Kerry has already referred to Vietnam as Nixon's war and he has the WH tapes, which mention him by name as a topic of conversation between Nixon and Colson. Kerry will wear the security clearance withdrawal as a badge of honor. He stood up to Tricky Dick and the evil GOP who perpetrated Watergate and had an enemies' list that included MLKing. If we go into this knife fight, we better have a gun.

Sorry to say this but even if this were true (and I'm willing to concede that it probably is). The MSM will ignore it and the average idiotic "undecided" voter will never hear about it. I mean, an operative for John Kerry recently threatened government action against a media outlet ready to level a documentary that is critical to Kerry and NO ONE CARESSSSS. Does anyone else get the impression that if John Kerry were shown to be a rapist and a murderer, the MSM would cover it up for him?!? I do and it's making it very difficult for President Bush to win this election.

About a month or two ago, we were all guessing about the 2001 honorable discharge date, and I was one of a few who surmised it was because of a bad discharge.

I hate it when I am right!

So, did he just not show up at the Senate Intelligence Committee meetings and hearings out of laziness or was he not allowed to view Top Secret material so what's the point of showing up?

Kerry has all the security clearances of every other senator and maybe more, including compartmented clearances, if he sits on the Intelligence Committee.

Thanks for the link! I can remember Dianne Feinstein or one of those women complaining about not being able to see what they were voting for on blackbox programs because they did not have a high enough clearance. I am beginning to think they get an automatic Secret but to get Top Secret they do have to go through some type of background check. In fact, a lot of their information is higher then a straight Top Secret.

This could very well explain all the absence from these Intelligence briefings along with the Bush Administration wanting all Intelligence briefings in D.C.

I saw it on rumormillnews yesterday---there is more there today. The entire post is on the threat matrix from yesterday. Doesn't sound too good for Kerry. Now who will they pull in----Hillary?

Recall she said that there would be an "October Surprise?"

AND tonight Dubya MUST mention that Kerry's operative (his sister) failed in the TRAITOROUS
mission to sow discord with our loyal allies in Austalia.
If there ever was a mission intended to cause DOMESTIC problems by sending an
emissary to a foreign country to spread discord...KERRY and His SISTER should be
the example photo of (true) SEDITION in Webster's Dictionary.

John Kerry belongs there as a THREE-TIME LOSER:
1. Sedition in meeting with the North Vietnamese as US Navy reserve OFFICER
2. Sedition (with Tom Harkin) in kissing Communist Daniel Ortega's @$$ just before
Ortega went off to Moscow for aid and succor
3. Sedition in sending his sister as his personal emissary to Austalia, hoping to dispirit an ally

But there is a positive note. Praise be to Providence...
Even the "Kerry/Kennedy Cachet" couldn't keep our mates in Oz from voting for Howard!

The nagging questions is why doesn't Kerry release all of his records. He could wear the less than honorable discharge as a badge, at least to the lefty kooks. Not clear how normal people might take it. But it sure would move the Stolen Valor movie front and center. maybe that's the problem.

I contend there is something else wrong with his record. I would bet it's not good.
