President Bush and Senator Flipper squared off tonight in Missouri for their second debate and our President knocked it out of the park
ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO SANITY ISLAND!
I think he got botoxed again too.
AND his makeup was bad.
Mike was sleeping...he won't watch debates....he knows who he is voting for...LOL....he did wake up a few times, but I don't think he was paying attention.....Im off to bed....night all
thank you kitkat. The PM seemed pretty confident this morning and there is not much to suggest that he isn't going to win. I do feel a lot better with him in charge; that's for sure! Say, how did your guy do tonite? ;0)
George W. Bush makes me the proudest when he speaks about the need to protect the unborn and to promote a culture of life.
I want to thank God, in a public way, for answering my prayers tonight. President Bush stood tall for all of God's children tonight
So it's weighted a little more to the Dems? So the Rep. numbers are probably actually higher, you're saying. Is that right? (I'm getting tired).
I think you're right, that it will take a few days for the real results to show up, after people hear some of the questions and results over and over. The more they hear, the more they'll know about the Pres. and the candidate.
. He was pretty twisted about the whole Catholic/abortion/for-against partial birth abortion thing too.
The fallacy in Kerry's position that he has no right to impose his belief about abortion on everyone becomes obvious
when you apply his argument to infanticide. It is to say that every mother has the right to kill her baby and although I believe it is wrong to kill one's baby. I should not impose my belief on others.
Didn't he wake up when you yelled at the TV?
Sweet dreams!
I will bet that over half the crowd in that Hall are scratching their heads over that comment as they drive home :-)
LOL!!! Tell your husband I feel the same way. It's probably a good thing neither one of us will be in the same room w/the creep.
You're absolutely right about the culture of life. And for people like you and I and most/all of those on the Dose, it's the most important issue. It's one of the only make-or-break issues to me in voting, etc.
Thank God for answered prayers!
'winning the peace'!!!
Good point, kayak!
People who have and LIVE their faith know that that faith sets a person's overall beliefs and his or her actions, no matter what he or she is doing, whether in their own house or in the White House.
His veiw could be likened to saying, "I don't think I should kill my neighbor, but if you want to, I won't impose my belief on you."
Hi snugs--
Lest I appear too "hard", I do believe in the gov't helping people who CANNOT work for a period of time due to physical/mental problems. But the qualifications should be strict and the time limited.
Responsibility to ourselves--YES!
How are your mom and dad?
As someone who has a sister who was raped, I understand the emotions that would cause someone to abort a pregnancy that came about in such a violent manner. But the Father & Grandfather in me wants to love that child despite the circumstances. Life is life and I feel we must protect it.
Even the whacked out lib posters on the lib forums are having a hard time responding to it...the best they can muster is the same tedious "bush makes me sick".
Makes me want to go kick some ass myself....
OH, just found the link I needed to find...apparently its FactCheck that holds the key to claiming that Dick Cheney himself has endorsed FactCheck as 'fair and balanced.' Apparently they didnt take kindly to Cheney's free advertisement and have now posted an article bashing Cheney on all the hoary leftist twaddle about Halliburton, profit etc.
There's no pleasing some people.
How the he** is he going to add 40,000 new people in the services without a draft??? Lollipops?
Gotta get to bed--good night all . . .
God bless our President and God bless America!!!
Pass it on. If you hear someone use that garbage, call their hand on it.
Gotta fishing story for both of you.
A friend went on a fishing trip and caught 75 fish [big 30 pound fish]. He was pulling in one after the other.
A guy nearby couldn't even get a nibble, so several times my friend would get a fish on the line then go over to the other guy who couldn't catch anything and trade fishing poles with him, so the guy could "catch" a fish.
Sorta makes me think of a Democrat's ideal world.
I encourage you to read Hugh Hewitt's assessment of tonight's debate -- EXCELLENT (He also provides links to the other great 'conservative' bloggers)!

Night all!
