Here are the specific frames from the debate video shoqing most clearly what Kerry had in his hand as he took it out of his pocket and placed it on the podium.
I have taken two of the frames, lightened them, zoomed in, and sharpened the pics. No other enhancements have been made:
EXACTLY! You can't do a crib sheet without the questions.
SO it is up to us!
No props, notes, charts, diagrams, or other writings or other tangible things may be brought into the debate by any candidate. Neither candidate may reference or cite any specific individual sitting in a debate audience at any time during a debate. If a candidate references or cites any specific individual(s) in a debate audience, or if a candidate uses a prop, note, or other writing or other tangible thing during a debate, the moderator must interrupt and explain that reference or citation to the specific individual(s) or the use of the prop, note, or other writing or thing violates the debate rules agreed to by that candidate.
BTW, the rules state:
(e) Neither film footage nor video footage nor any audio excerpts from the debates may be used publicly by either candidate's campaign through any means, including but not limited to, radio, television, internet, or videotapes, whether broadcast or distributed in any other manner.
The agreement has been violated pretty thoroughly in spirit and in fact. (posted expressions on the Kerry/Edwards website).
The MSM won't cry foul, but we should!
I didn't see much of the debate, but the little that I did see, it appeared Kerry was using sound bites for answers. I thought at the time, he must know the questions.
He didn't do his usual hemming and hawing.
I agree. He seemed just a little too polished and poised.
PHIKAPMOM ADDED: "This would make total sense!"
EXACTLY!!!
Yes we should. If the rules for the debate are that you have to talk off the cuff without aid, then that's the rules. If Bush could have had extra notes or even the questions ahead of time how much different would things have been? He could have come loaded for bear with 100 different angles on the truth to fight back with.
This makes me sick. It makes me even more sick that this may not get hugh national attention. And it makes me think we may lose simply because the liberal democrats are in control of too much and we can't stop them.
This is insane. Just a couple of decades ago a scandal like this would have instantly sunk a president. Kerry has just shown himself to be the worst kind of cheat and liar... and this thread is not getting half the attention it should.
Frustrating...
Thanks for another excellent thread, Jeff -- this is just the latest of many. No wonder I love this place, and freepers in general.
Very good point. If one is provided with the questions and answers ahead of time. Then with proper study habits the answers will flow without hesitation. Kerry is not fooling anyone and only the liberal media will praise him for his clandestine performance in the debate. I have great respect for President Bush, but I hope he realizes that he is not in sunday school during these debates.Kerry will use any deception/trick to upset him.(The lingering handshake)Pre-planned by the alinsky debate prep team to agitate President Bush's. What will it be next? a man or woman alleged war protestor screaming child killer and pointing at President Bush in the next debate. Rest assured the kommies have their battle plans prepared and the Repubs had best pull their heads out from within. Keep America free vote Bush/Cheney 2004
"Hey Jim, since NO PROPS were permitted, what is kerry taking out of his jacket and putting on his podium-the questions you were about to ask? Since you permitted him to cheat using notes (no handkerchief I know of stands up straight-lol), why should we believe you or one of your staffers did not give him your questions beforehand?"
Thanks for the ping. It certainly appears that Kerry is using notes. But, what can you expect from a person that is as flat and thin as the note cards.
All materials were supplied by the debate folks. Even a blank piece of paper was a violation of the agreement between Bush and Kerry. You know it wasn't blank, too. A LIAR and a CHEATER is Kerry!Once again, the DemocRATS show their contempt for the rules. And the Kerry staffer just laughed at Matt Drudge and said "See you at the inauguration, Matt Drudge".
Huh? They're gonna go to see Dubya sworn in ?? :^D
The DemocRATS are really low-lifes, aren't they??
It might be a tiny computer that feeds him with answers paid for by his wife's money.
BTTT!!!!!!!
Jeff Head,
Can you vouch for the authenticity of this shot? I heard Drudge last night saying there are lots of doctored shots on the internet.
We found out that one of the candidates cheated. They misrepresented one point. The item they misrepresented wasn't going to be a major point in our selection criterea. And this particular candidate company had the edge in our selection process. They had many advantages over their competition. We immediately dismissed them from consideration.

The sky is not red. 2+2 does not equal 5.
Exactly...and he used a lot of cheap words, without any substance, during the entire 90 minutes.
