Here are the specific frames from the debate video shoqing most clearly what Kerry had in his hand as he took it out of his pocket and placed it on the podium.
I have taken two of the frames, lightened them, zoomed in, and sharpened the pics. No other enhancements have been made:
Hey Buckhead...lol
Well, unfortunately he allowed himself to get rattled by it. He knew going in that the Democrats do not follow rules. (look at the NJ senate race). Bush should have gone into the debate imagining he was debating James Carville, which, in fact, he was.

have been prepared."
You CANNOT debate a liar. How do you prepare for the impossible?
I do wish Pres. Bush had mentioned that JFK hadn't bothered to show up for most intelligence meetings/breifings much less a year out of the Senate job.
Between this and the wink we have quite the story here.

At least he didn't pull it out of his pants like Berger. (eeuww)
Kerry probably has to wear maxipads in his armpits.
Kerry probably figures if it worked for Burger. ....... This is just all too Clintonesque.
I looked at the 00:2:43, and could not discern whether an earpiece appears or not.
If the ones who filmed release all of the shots, it should be easy to find a camera angle that shows what kerry took out, and also whether he was wearing an ear piece or not.
hard to tell at the angle I viewed.

This reminds me what guys did with that paper Gen. Remey was holding in his hand at a press conference in front of a broken kite that he was claiming was actually recovered at Roswell and not UFO debris. His note in his hand suggested otherwise. They actually able to determine a lot of the text in that paper he was holding in his hand.
Remember all through the debate Kerry was furiously and ostentatiously writing away, ample cover for reading his little cards.
"I have a plan."
|
"I have a really good plan."
|
"BUSH has no plan."
|
"My plan is MUCH better than Bush's plan."
|
"Bush collOSSally screwed up HIS plan."
|
"I have a plan
and it's a SECRET!"
|
Certainly a possibility. I had the feeling it was more of a ploy on his part to appear engaged. Who knows.

---When pressed on the fact that even brandishing a pen from his jacket would have violated debate rules, the Kerry staffer laughed, adding, "See you at the inauguration, Drudge". ---
Arrogant little twerps! It'll be W's inauguration. Bush by 10 points.
W had had a rough day. He was tired and emotionally drained.
Then, Kerry pulled the walk out late, long handshake hold...and said something to throw the Prez off.
Of course the President saw what Kerry did! This is where his anger came from. That, and the way Kerry made an opening statement, speaking for the President and Kerry.
The President needs to remember that this is a street brawl. No such thing as a "fair" fight!
Which post?
That would make sense. Kerry is just dirty.
