I'm watching KING5 news out of Seattle. Good thing the weather is nice today, winds coming out of the north. Portland might get dumped on. Couldn't happen to a nicer place!

Actually, in that vein, anything going on at Yellowstone? You know, the continent-killer volcano under the lake?

Just wait for the wacko environmentalists to claim that Bush's environmental policy over the past 3 and a half years caused this to happen as well..

"Unless, of course, you happen to live in Idaho"

I'm 300 miles to the NW in the Idaho panhandle. The 1980 blow out deposited up to 1 foot of ash in places and took 6 months to clean up.

I had the privilege of driving thru there after the explosion. It was so amazing that in the area we were allowed into, all the trees were down....flat...and ALL lying in the same direction...from the force of the blast. And all was gray.....just ash gray. Made me realize how small and insignificant man is, when pitted against God's natural world.

Nothing in particular. There are always a smattering of small earthquakes there at all times. No real change.

Other than Mauna Loa, a 3-4 volcanoes in Alaska, there's nothing in particular going on or signs of an impending eruption soon at any American volcanoes.

24 hour news channels need the material (think hurrican coverage). I think they will pick up on it.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say she will erupt again right around evening news time, and again right before the Sunday talk shows ; )

Here's hoping...

I question the timing.

Bush is behind this.

It's to gain votes in Washington State!

We know he can cause Hurricanes. LOL

Barely active enough to be measured, but active nonetheless.
