I was having an argument with another FReeper about how many of the old timers were still around. I tell people there is a FReeper vsyndrome and that most of them are still around, they just don't post much anymore.

Gene was the original East Coast Freeper activist while I and was West Coast. Remember he got jumped by some lib about the same time I was street protesting China's COSTCO take over of the Long Beach Naval Station property. We won, and if IRC, he had influenced on his cause.
He is the best. Recently had a VetsCoR booth beside him at FreedomFest, a conservative conference in Las Vegas. You can see some pics of us at VetsCoR Events Page. He now lives there. It was old home week for us.

Lurked first, joined April 1, 1998, fond memories of DITHF, Lucianne, A+Bert prior to his alleged reincarnation, Eschoir, etc. Formerly hung out at CompuServe, Prodigy before that, back when JimRob was there doing Whitewater. FR is the best of the best, top notch all the way.

Thanks. This was a great idea. I do not post much but I'm here almost every morning and night. Where else does one get the true news of the day. We all owe a debt to Jim! The discussions got me through many dark days during the Clinton days. I saw hope in the postings on this site.

LOL! That was a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away. I did it with Microsoft Access (precursor to Microsoft ForgerTM), having got the idea from the esteemed Rodger Schultz.
The posting load is WAY too heavy for that now, but I think we need a must-read thread - but we got too many cooks, and not enough time.
But we did have time to bag Rather, though he'd rather we hadn't. :-)
