Each day that goes by has people asking 'Where's Obama?' The democrat candidate for Illinois Senate has been MIA as Alan Keyes has cris-crossed the state of Illinois exposing Obama's liberal voting record. People are starting to hear the truth and Obama is losing support downstate.
The Chicago dead still support Obama by a large margin.
Yes, I think it would. If Obama ran unopposed then he would be "Obama, the man who ran against nobody, and won." But now he will be "Obama the giant killer", "Obama, the man who took on the great Conservative hope, and creamed him by 45 points". All Alan Keyes is doing is adding to the Obama mystique. He's going to build Obama up to be something bigger than he has any right to be. He's the best thing to happen to Obama since the DNC speech.
Keyes is not a typical politician, he answers their questions and the media hates him for it.
What is Obama's position on reparations? gun control? Gay agenda?

He supports a government giveaway to some people by suspending all their income taxes for a period of time.
It's not only wrong, it wouldn't work even if any sane person agreed that "reparations" should be made.

The word is Obama is doing exactly what the Keyes candidacy was supposed to prevent: campaigning in other states for other Democrats. He's 45% up in the poll of live people, this one is over.

Obama will make Carol Mostly Brawn look like Margaret Thatcher, just as the St. Louis Post-Dispatch makes Pravda look like the Limbaugh Letter.
The Post-Dispatch poll is consistent with the Trib poll done Aug. 13-16. In that one, it was Obama 65%-Keyes 24%. In this one, it's Obama 68%-Keyes 24%. If the candidates have done internal polling that shows differently, I haven't seen it.
