Bush Poster Child
If the picture of little 3-year-old Sophia Parlock crying after some Kerry-Edwards supporters tore up her Bush-Cheney poster got to you, well, you weren't the only one. President Bush and even first pup Barney were dismayed too, we hear. It happened at a West Virginia rally last week for Democratic running mate Sen. John Edwards, to which Phil Parlock brought his daughter. After seeing the picture of the tearful Sophia on her dad's shoulders, aides said the president was sending her a little note Friday along with a signed campaign poster and an autographed photo of the prez and his dog. "Dear Sophia," Bush penned, "Thank you for supporting my campaign. I understand someone tore up your sign. So I am sending you a new sign and a signed picture. Please give my best to your family. Sincerely, George W. Bush." And on the picture, he inked: "To Sophia, Best wishes from me and Barney." Phil Parlock tells us it really wasn't necessary. "He already said 'Thank you' when he hugged her" at a previous Bush rally they attended, he says. "She bragged for days."See the picture:

In this election cycle, I've noticed that fewer "journalists" are using the traditional inverted pyramid-style of newswriting (start with the important info and put the least-important info last, in case the article gets cut) and are instead adding their own political commentary (what they want the reader to remember about the article) at the end. Frustrating!
From the
article on The Washington Times:
Anti-war demonstrators have complained in recent weeks that they have been manhandled by security agents at Bush-Cheney campaign events.
No evidence or proof -- or photographs! But, imo, the intent of that last line of the article is to do damage and give the story actually being reported less credibility.
I'm glad our President is acknowledging this child. (But then, he's a good man without a hidden agenda.)

Bush is politicizing what happened at this political rally.I really feel sorry for people like you. You are so self centered that you think everyone else must be. My President, GW Bush is an honest man, one with feelings and just wanted to express those feelings to make a little girl feel good about herself or can't you understand that concept?

Bush = Class
Kerry won the demoncRatic primaries, Bush called him up and congratulated him.
Kerry fell down while skiing, blamed it on one of his Secret Service peeps...nothing from Bush.
Kerry fell off his bicycle...nothing from Bush.
Bush fell off his bicycle...Kerry responded with the quip, "Guess they took the training wheels off too soon."
Bush = Class
Sorry Kerry, but having money doesn't give you the moral highground...we know what you are.

The whole DU premise is that LIBERALS wouldn't tear up a guy's signs so many times. Well, that is what LIBERALS do, they are fascists. The Code Pink bimbos tried that at Fox News. Gael Murphy and Jodie Evans BOTH put their hands on the sign carried by the smallest woman opposing them. LIBERALS stink. They will take away everyone else's rights if they ever get power. Listen to how they talk about "free speech", like "Fox lies, so they should be silenced." Even a liberal professor of journalism on AirHead America warned them that they should not try that because it's unAmerican to silence critics when the "truth" can't be proved in a conclusive way. In other words, you can't silence people for opinions.
