And losing count in the middle of it & starting over to do it again.

I am from the Air Force side of the House and I saw so much wrong with these that I cannot believe -- this afternoon is the first time I have been on the computer to look. There is a glaring omission -- USAF, USAFR, or ANG are missing from behind the rank. As a Navy vet, I did not think that was out of line.
We were told in the Navy that Air Force officers left out such details so that they could spend an extra three seconds at their Air Force Base Golf Course. (Diving for cover.) ;-)

Mr. Curley (CEO & President of AP) would love to hear from Freepers everywhere!
You know, when you SPIKE a CEO's head into the end zone like that, I can hear that dull thud over here. :)

If I were going to manufacture some bogus documents, I wouldn't try to recreate a typewritten memo with a computer. I'd hire some Monks with quill pens. Maybe some faded brownish gray ink.

How could an MSM organ get caught with such a blatant forgery? I then had a true tinfoil moment. Didn't the Clinton team just on board for Kerry? Who would this benefit? Now Karl Rove could have cooked it up in the bowels of the EOB but I doubt it. A Kerry implosion could benefit the Clintonistas.

This may be a good place to add doubt to the docs. The following is a listing of addresses regrading Bush found at Myths and Truths Resources Note that the memo above refers to an address at 5000 Longmont but according to payroll records, Bush lived 2910 Westheimer Rd Apt 4. If they knew where to send his check, why didn't they know where he lived ?

"due to Bush getting hounded back in February and March over this stupid Guard issue. "
and all the other 527 and other extraneous accusations. Bush has handled it all with such grace.
You are exactly right.

Has the MSM reported the same thing being done by France yet? When you *are* the news, you are better able to bury your blunders, or at least that's how it worked in the olden days.

That's what I was thinking about Harkin. I am totally convinced all dems are absolutely crazy. There is no other way to explain it.I think the alternate explanation is they seriously underestimate the intelligence of the American public.

If you want them and can't get to them in about 24-36 hours, let me know and I'll post them on one of my web spaces. Finally got them, thank you! Guess we were seeing server glitches after all. :-)
Thank you for the offer though, LL! I appreciate it. If CBS tries to lie about it in the future (as I suspect they will), we've got them! :-)

If you think Bay Palms is nice, you should see Andrews AFB. The Navy builds a nasty golf course for the most part. I will say that the Navy didn't do too shabby with NAS Pensacola though...

At the beginning of the year, Thomas Lifson, who was at Harvard Business School with George W Bush, made an interesting observation about the President. He notes that young George "was a very avid and skillful poker player" when he was a Business Administration student and that "one of the secrets of a successful poker player is to encourage your opponent to bet a lot of chips on a losing hand. Yup, passing out the memo to press as a "courtesy" was like checking at the flop when you already have a straight.

Do you think a CO would use that to type a memo for a private file..not part of official records? Not in the USAF. A CO does not take time for such foolishness. A lawful order is never published in a memo for record, it's given directly to the member. A CO would also never admit in a MFR that he was being stiff armed to give a certain rating, becuase if it ever made public, that officer is toast.

I believe that old fax technology made conversions of characters to code, cuz it sped up transmission speeds. Nope, that's why it is called "facsimilie."

A John Edwards (the talk to the dead guy) moment perhaps? ;-)
