I don't know either. All I know about it is what I do with it. For example, sometimes I need to file a document in public records that needs to be signed by someone in another state, and I need to edit their last version before I do so. I get a pdf file from them - signed - and make changes in the text, but the final doc still has their sig, sometimes their letterhead, etc.
If someone really knows how these programs work, I agree, give it a try. The one thing I do know is that you can't do it with Acrobat Reader (the free version). To do this kind of editing, you need Approval or one of the pay versions.

I have this mental image of Dan Blather at midnight, sitting at his keyboard in his underwear, cackling maniacally as he types out the forgery.
And it ain't pretty.

CBS is the Weekly World News of network TV.
Stepanapolous of ABC said earlier that this was going to be a Hurricane for Bush. Looks like its a category 5 for CBS!

You are basically saying that one printer handles the superscript different than another, or what you see on your screen.
Gotcha. And thanks!

I have a real good connection and had no problem getting to the first one, again.
If you want them and can't get to them in about 24-36 hours, let me know and I'll post them on one of my web spaces.
Your point about the FBI and type databases is well-taken.

Just imagine how the lurker DU folks reading our posts feel. Wonder how many have a fist full of sleeping pills and a bottle of booze next to their monitors?

Even the folks who read "People" will cry foul What's more, this is an interesting scandal with legs of its own, and Fox would love to sit back and beat C-BS over the head with it for a while.
As much as this tars the media and ties them to the Kerry debacle, it really diminishes whatever else the media will try to throw at him. Bush looks like a victim of the hatchet media, and their further efforts will turn against them. This could be a 'Wizard of Oz' moment.
To: VRWCTexan
Interesting. You'd think the WH would have taken a long time to examine them before release. How long did they have them, do you know?
