They came from CBS, who faxed them to the White House before they story broke. The White House is clean on this one. (At least on the surface :))

I'm watching CBS now...typical response from them.
They didn't say word one about the 60 Minutes documents being disputed; said Bush was desperately trying to bury talk about his NG service and that Republican attack dogs went after poor little Ben Barnes.
Then he went on to speculate about whether these new "revelations" would impact Bush the way the Swift Boat ads did Kerry.
Freaking slimeball. I have to go shower now, even my eyeballs feel dirty after watching Rather.

So now we're an internet website. Well that beats right wing thugs, extremists, and assorted other criticisms from those who hate the truth.

Killian's son says docs are a mixture of truth and fiction. Not likely kept is a secret file at his dad's home. [Brit read son's statement.]

The guy who signed the documents is long dead! THIS IS THE BIGGEST FRAUD BEING PERPETRATED IN THIS CAMPAIGN BY CBS/DAN RATHER AND THEIR CRONIES IN THE DNC!!!!

Hope no one was holding their breath during Rather's blurb.

Of course they did. CBS can't see the egg on their faces nor the order of crowburgers that are about to be served.

I've had several occasions, in my job, where docs were scanned into my system and them modified and edited - I assume that, in that process, the typeface and formatting became something that is compatible with Adobe. No, in this case the document is a bitmap image. Everything - the fonts, the signature - is as it appears on paper.

To: lugsoul
If you load the doc into the PDF reader and select the text cursor (a capital T, I think), you can drag accross the text and select it a letter or word or sentence etc.
This cannot be done with an image-content pdf.
