Swing voters in Ohio loved Miller's speech in Luntz's focus group.
So far, VERY positive. No negative comments. The fact that he's a Dem and military vet was a plus.
"Dead on."
Oops... one woman says totally overboard, too focused on terrorism.
Good to see you around here PD. Don't be a stranger, OK?

Zell's speech, and his fiery interviews pulling out his Kerry anti-military voting record fact sheets, will be a huge help in getting conservative Southern Democrats (there are some left) to vote for GW Bush. What a great and honorable man to stand up for the conservatives in the Democratic party.
Wall Street Journal's John Harwood just compared Zell to "the spouse in a divorce proceeding who adds, 'Oh yeah, my wife is a child molester'."
Are you kidding?
Nice post TR...I agree and I'm glad I'm here to see it.
Nope,no time dfor anything much until after this election and PRESIDENT BUSH IS RE-ELECTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow....Luntz's undecided group was floored and in POSITVE sense!
Thank you. I wish I'd gotten to hear Brit Hume say 'poophead.' That would be a GREAT soundbite.
That's exactly what the lefties have been doing for years!
Identify their own bad behavior, and sling it over on the right, hoping that nobody will pick up on what they're doing.
If anyone watched Zell's interaction in an objective manner, he played right into Chrissy's hands.
Focus group judging Zell on MSNBC. Hurry
Zell mention the Malkin incident?
Zell is angry , as he should be. As a former democrat who had to leave the party I had been loyal to all of my life when socialist (Marxist) lowlifers hijacked it, I was and still am angry. The "sensitive" politician is Kerry, not Zell. This is no time to play nice, this is the most important election of a generation. The media will attack him regardless, smiling, or frowning. He did exactly the right thing as far as this former dem is concerned.
Don't you get in my face and interrupt me like you did that young woman.
Chrissy mutters about her deserving it. Zell repeats, don't you treat me the way you treated that woman. If you ask a question let me answer it.
...
Miller stuck around as Matthews stopped interrupting him.
-------
Zell just destroyed Matthews most useful tactic. Other conservatives will take the lesson. I think Matthews just lost whatever edge he ever had as an interviewer.
/
It's all just very simple now.
Put a fork in Kerry, he's done.
He's got nothing left.
Yes, it was lovely!! I couldn't believe it. (snicker) This has been the best convention!
I'm tired of Republicans playing defense. We're not playing any more. Attacking them and their lack of resolve in defending this country is the kind of OFFENSE they're not used to seeing from our folks. If that kind of action is OFFENSIVE to them, so be it.
