Read somewhere that Hillary is heading the dem truth squad. If true, I'm laughing out loud. Also read that the networks are giving her carte blanche (a little French term!), meaning, I guess, that the welcome mat is out for her anytime her thighness wishes to spread manure lies on the gardens of the masses.

Here is my prediction. She will be gracious and low-key, presenting a palatable alternative to Kerry. She will not be harsh or strident, but smiling and jokey ("Oh, Tim!").

I am wondering if the meeting in Nantucket is a last-ditch effort to save his candidacy. WHY would he have scheduled a speech to the American Legion this week? I cannot think he will get a warm reception.

Anyway, I think she won't attack Bush so much as criticize Republicans in general. She is making her move, IMHO.
