The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

They do a lot of money laundering operations. Sometimes they ship money out in suitcases from their front businesses to a contact overseas.

My guess would be they use all types of transactions to withdraw and preserve their money.

Does this "outflow" means they don't need it here anymore, and that the money would be in jeopardy if it stayed here?

I doubt the money being moved out would have been in any danger had it stayed put. It could mean that we're putting a crimp into money sources overseas and this is a reserve source already in this country. Of course a mistake on anybody's part could always let the cops confiscate a discovered stash.

I do think we are now in a waiting mode for an attack.

Mohammed Atta ( piss be upon him) wired about 250 thousand dollars back to Al Qaeda right before they attacked the WTC on 9-11.

I thought this was the case, I had read that several 9/11 hikackers sent money back home before carrying out the deed. LOL at the piss be upon him. :)

I agree with Judicial Meanz & ExSoldier that the attack plans are now in the operational phase. Really hope we can stop it, but we need to be ready if we can't.

Especially when you're talking about suicide operatives funded by AQ, the modus operandi has been that they send back any excess funds right before they carry out their attack . . . (after holding back enough for that last big night at the local strip club, of course) . . .

Yes, there was! Good catch. But I think that's maybe a tactic that will only work once because I'll bet the SEC is tasked to track that and notify DHS. I'm sure that since Wall Street is also a target, the investment companies are also watching for this sort of activity. But indeed, it's something to look for.

I do not have a link for you however if memory serves me there was nothing proved in the now completed investigation.

Woah! We have been attack free since 9/11 - puleeze do not sell your intel and CI folks short. They have and are busting their backsides long before 9/11 and continue to do so.

Need prayers folks!

Two members of HHC, 3/116th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division were killed in Iraq, and another one was injured. An Afghan interpreter was also injured.

I've worked with these guys a few times over the past two years, and they are the worlds best people. They need our prayers...and our support.
