I'm not. WHEN Bush wins and we add maybe 1-2 Senate seats and slightly expand our House seats, the libs are going to get dangerous, perhaps violently so.

Bring it. We have all the guns. We have all the military training. Gonna be short insurrection.

Oh, I agree. Can you just see Michael Moore trying to figure out which end of an RPG to use? He probably thinks it's a suppository.

Fourth Reason: Rush Limbaugh. His impact on the Republican trend can't be ignored.

This is a Party that Dare Not Speak Its Ideology.

I hope one of those added sears is given up by Barbara Boxer.
We can give her some lovely parting gifts:

The war on terror may become a battle with two fronts.

It already is. I've thought for some time that Axis of Evil = Islamofascism + International Socialism. Look at the ANSWER goons marching and organizing. Look at Michael Moore. The second front may not be violent (yet) but it surely is real.

She, unfortunately, is a lock. We can win TommyD's seat; we can take the FL, SC, and NC seats (+3). We will lose IL (+2). We will do well to hold AK (+2). And we'll likely gain the GA seat (+3, but no real change because this replaces the pro-GOP Zell Miller).

At best I see us gaining 2, which is a shame, because we should have knocked out Reid, Patty Murray, and Baucus. Reid and Baucus are running virtually unopposed. The IL GOP is pathetic to screw up the situation the way they did.

Yesterday one of America's finest called in and said it was his first day to listen to Rush. Said his brother gave him a bunch of reading material and asked him why anybody would vote for a guy who "flips off" his fellow vets. Called Kerry a "knucklehead". Loved it.

I don't understand why, no one even likes her, or Feinstein.

Curious.. I agree about SC and GA. FL I am not so sure about...but NC? Bowles is 10% ahead in polls I have been seeing. Do we really think we can win this one?

OK is a possiblity for us to lose, but less of one since we nominated Coburn. AK is another one that the R is polling behind the demoncrat.

I like the enthusiasm, but I am not so optimistic. I hope that I am wrong...but here is Seattle, I am surrounded by rats everywhere...

My understanding of NC is that Bowles, because of his previous run, is a well-known name. Most of the Republican's problems come from lack of name recognition, much of which will be offset by advertising and debates.

Also, did Bowles not have a lead over Dole in 2000?

Add Nevada to that last sentence. The last I understood, the reason for not knocking out Reid, who won by only 500+ votes, is that with his seniority in Congress, Nevada will get more Federal goodies. So sayeth the Dems and our spineless Pubbies agree.

You say "Reagan babies" like that's a bad thing.

But sorry, I'm at work right now paying for your SS so I sometimes have to make fast post and may screw up time to time, But the point still stands on which Generation is putting Bush over the top and which is dragging him down.

So yes the Democrats will be in trouble when the Hippie Baby Boomers die off.
