What's the difference between a dead opossum in the road and a dead trial lawyer in the road?
The opossum has skid marks.

Have you calculated yet how many votes that Edwards has missed this year?
If so, another lawsuit from you might be needed?
To: Blue Highway
Hey, if he can talk to the dead, he should be at the TOP of the ticket!

A few weeks ago someone posted a point-by-point comparison between Quayle's and Edwards' resumes. I couldn't find it; could someone post it again? Thanks

Does Edwards have military experience. This is something they (dims) are always beating up Cheney (chickenhawk) about.

Does Edwards have military experienceNot a day of it. Edwards has no experience of any kind outside of a courtroom and a little over 3 years in the Senate.
Cheney was Sec. Def. for 4 years.

"historic announcement", says Fox...because why??? I haven't been able to read all the posts to see what answers have already been posted, but some news people had mentioned a few days ago that this would be the earliest a VP selection would have been announced. Usually such announcements are made a week before the conventions of either party; yet another sign that the party conventions should probably be extinct. Just as unimportant a possible historic bit might be that both are senators.
Looks as though little John finally got an adult haircut.

the polls do not back up your gloom I am not gloomy, I am pessimistic, (perhaps with patience and time you will learn the difference) and here is why; you wanted polls, here they are and remember it is not the horse race but the approval polls which bode ill for Bush:

Which of these polls do you want to rest your optimism upon?
