NBC breaking says for sure it's Edwards for veep
Bingo -- your post #811!
The ads are running today? I hope I get to see one, and I agree, good timing, in view of JfK's dashed hopes of getting McCain on his ticket.
Also remember that the website for the campaign is www.georgewbush.com.
My understanding is that the ads were released right after the announcement. They have been canned since the visit to the State of Washington waiting for the announcement.
Isn't that a bit....................condescending, nathan? :o)
Respond to the actual facts I posted to you (as an adult) that contradict your doomsaying, and then I'll take you seriously.
Until then, feel free to wallow in your pessimism, hypersensitivy, and defensiveness (and armchair psychology?) if that makes you feel good.
But in the mean time, the Bush campaign is going strong, the polls do not back up your gloom (unless you get them from the L.A. Times), and the President is going to win by a substantial margin in November over this incredibly weak RAT ticket.
Be happy.
I agree with you, but the Bush team has to do a better job of defining Kerry and now Edwards as such. How many Americans know that Kerry was Dukakis's Lt. Gov? Not that many, I'd bet.
I really don't see the White House being aggressive about this election. I don't see the hunger or the fire in GWB over this election the way I think the democraps are right now. GWB will be just like his father unless he starts campaigning like he did in 2002.
It makes his posts less confusing to know that he really doesn't WANT Bush to win.
Where are you looking?
Are you another 'wishful thinker'?
Maybe because I am NY GWB is not playing any ads here, as he would be right to do. I would like to see the bold GWB that gets into the crowd with the people with the bullhorn.
The Feds were never able to pin anything on the Old Man.
You're reading WAY too much into it.
(Besides which, I just went to a rip-roaring Cheney rally in Parma, Ohio........don't believe the rumors).
``John is a very good senator, and I think will make a very strong vice presidential nominee. I wish him the best of luck. I think John Edwards is a man of high character, strong integrity and will be a very good vice presidential candidate.''
-- Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn.
Way to go, Frist. Dumbass.
GWB is bold. Be patient.
I didn't think there was anyone of voting age behind John(1) at the Rally. I kept seeing these two girls who appeared to be about 13, looking over to one of the aides or their parents to know when to clap.
If President Bush were to drop VP Cheney just because of electibility issues, that would make it likely for me to not vote for him. It's a silly thought, to think that pandering to the left wing by dropping Cheney will make the President appear more likeable.
I think this is really gonna be a horse race. The dims will be playin the violins 24X7 talking about the poor downtrodden section.
But it's gonna be tough, because GW and Cheney are pretty clean. And you can bet some dirt will come up about the Johns, maybe even some stuff that would disgrace a democrat!
But I hope the pubbies got enough decorum to work on Kerry's wishy-washy style and Edwards inexperience.
It'll be interesting, that's for sure. Expect the unexpected.
Guess I best start getting organized
Well hell's bells. Frist hasn't pulled a Jeffords while we weren't looking.......... has he? /sarcasm
One more reason for the states to pick their Senators instead of them being popularly elected.
