Hey!
Yes, I'm feeling better thanks to a shot of Toradol and a rx. for 500 mg hydrocodone.

Our primary in NC is on July 20th.
Since I will be in Nags Head that week, Mrs. CD and I will be voting early.

He cannot do this while he is back on his heels.

Are you not paying attention to his campaign at all? Where do you get your information (or lack thereof?)

I don't know the man, but I'm still puzzling over why telling him to be happy was offensive......

I guess I just don't understand seeing the bad side of every situation.

Kerry is a dweeb. Edwards is a slightly better looking, more charismatic dweeb.

Loser & Loser. I'm pleased with the ticket.

Yikes--the votes might just be tallied in time for the DNC convention.

Glad you are feeling better. Have a marvelous time in Nag's Head!

Katie, Andrea Mitchell, Matt & Russert are breathless with excitement.

Why, Edwards is a crappy pick. Bozo the Clown is better prepared to fight terrorism and improve the economy.

What we have is a LIBERAL TICKET - Mondale -Dukakis retreads.

Well - The Street seems not to like the pick.... the market looks like it kinda tanked for today.

Look there are some people who can separate their intellectual conclusions from their emotional needs, these people are called adults.

You twice stated you are "sorry" but you are not sorry or you would stop presuming to lecture me or anyone else about their emotional state. Why do you need to condescend even when you profess to be "sorry?"

I invite you to debate me on the merits as between adults.

Otherwise, I regard your condescension to be quite a display of passive aggressive behavior.

Defeatable ticket.

I don't think the "Zell Miller" democrats of the south will be influenced to vote for this ticket.

I'm sorry, but not worried about a lawyer who doesn't even know what the DOMA is when asked about his position on gay marriage. I don't expect the Cheney-Edwards debate to be much more than watching my cat toy with the lizard on the back porch. Now Bush-Kerry, on the other hand....

One of the talking heads on one of the poor excuses for news network said that this is the most united he's ever seen the democrats.

I'm apt to agree with him, and you. John Kerry isn't going to win this election, Bush is going to loose it. That is, unless they get their head out of their posterior and start calling things like they are, instead of playing nicety nice ala "Islam is a religion of peace. We love Muslims"

Do not worry about Nathanbedford, he is has been very negative all the time. He is one of those third party bitter losers that you see them pop out on Free republic when they think, in fact they hope, that the President in trouble. They come up swinging telling us about the gloom and doom scenario. Come November, they will be very disappointed.

Sent to the other local paper, the Lincoln Journal Star. C'mon, folks, let's get out and hammer this pretty-boy.

With less than four years in the Senate and no other public service, John Edwards is the least experienced major-party candidate for President or Vice President we've had in the last century; possibly the least experienced in our entire history. At this time of war, can we really afford to have a novice leader one heartbeat away from being Commander in Chief?

I can't wait to see Cheney make lunchmeat out of that know-nothing boy

If indeed it is still Cheney.

The only reason I say that: just received a "W 04" bumper sticker from the Bush campaign. Instead of the "Bush/Cheney '04" sticker

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but there it is.

per Cavuto, Stock market down per news of Kerry's choice of Edwards...

Stock market doesn't need a reason to make like a roller coaster. It does a good job of that all by itself.

Big deal, Edwards is a loser too, let's break out all the negative comments he made about Kerry during the primaries...a flop-flip and a flip-flop.

Edwards makes the most sense for Kerry. As far as criticisms during the primaries, they don't mean much. George Bush Sr. was critical of Reagan's economic ideas (remember "voodo economics"), and was also Reagan's second choice behind Ford but it didn't matter in the end.

Excuse me for interrupting, but I think you were the person that said that Bush should be campaigning like Truman.

He IS campaigning like Truman. What do you think all those visits to different states are? He gets local press while the mainstream media ignores him. This is rather like Dewey's being backed by the Eastern media who thought he couldn't lose, while Truman was on a train getting votes from everyday folks.

Big media ignores these trips, wanting to give the impression that Bush is not campaigning. He is and he is on fire...as I saw in his speech in West Virginia on July 4th.

However, maybe you meant that Bush should be campaigning on a train. I don't think that is going to happen.
