Paper Reports 'Secret Dialogue' Between Iraqi Interim Government, Resistance Groups

Beirut: Al-Mustaqbal (Internet Version-WWW) in Arabic 05 Jul 04 [Report by Isam al-Amiri: "Factions Within the Resistance Sever Relations with Al-Zarqawi"]

Baghdad -- Iraqi intelligence sources have said that many elements in the Iraqi resistance have recently severed their relations with the Jordanian national Abu-Mus'ab al-Zarqawi who is affiliated with Al-Qa'ida network.

The sources said that some factions of the Iraqi resistance issued statements declaring that they have nothing to do with Al-Zarqawi, and condemning the bombings he carries out that target civilians and elements in the police and army. These factions considered these operations terrorism. In fact, some factions issued statements urging their members to arrest him [Al-Zarqawi] so as to implement what they described as "God's law on him."

Moreover, the sources revealed a secret dialogue between the interim Iraqi Government led by Iyad Allawi and factions within the Iraqi resistance which refuse to mortgage themselves to the foreigner and want nothing more than to resist the occupation. The sources noted that the ongoing dialogue between the two sides has produced good resulted, among which is readiness to halt the resistance within a specific time frame provided that the occupation forces leave Iraq, and that the government pledges to maintain specific Islamic and Arab constants in the future Iraqi constitution, to declare a general amnesty, to release all Iraqi prisoners held by the coalition forces, and to put an end to unfair decisions against Ba'thists who were generally dissatisfied with the practices of Saddam Husayn's regime. Moreover, the factions demanded introducing structural changes in the composition of the political authority, and refraining from holding any overt or covert relations with Israel.

Furthermore, the sources expressed optimism over the success of these efforts in light of the objective consensus between the Shiites of the South and the Sunnis in the center over almost all major issues.

Revealing the secret dialogue coincided with the interim Iraqi Government's announcement that it is intends to issue an amnesty for those "who have been deceived" into working with the groups that carried out acts of violence in the country.

Allawi's spokesman Korkis Sadah Hirmiz has said that the "Iraqi Government is certain that many of the Iraqis who have been deceived are in dire need for money and do not receive any salaries because they have left the army or remained without jobs. Hence, they became involved in acts of violence or so-called resistance." He explained: "For example, the amnesty will encompass those who worked with the so-called resistance and did not kill anyone, but possess heavy weapons." He added: "They must hand over their weapons to the state, and must confess their actions. They must then pledge that they will not carry out such actions in the future."

Hirmiz added that "the Iraqi Government will explain to everyone that this will be the last chance, and that it will pass severe sentences against those who miss this precious opportunity."

The sources noted that the Iraqi agencies' extensive efforts, particularly with regard to collecting information about Al-Zarqawi, his group, and his network in Iraq, will tighten the noose around his neck and around his group, and push them to seek another shelter outside Iraq.

Observers who are specialized in monitoring Al-Qa'ida networks stressed that Al-Zarqawi is actually contemplating searching for another arena for "Jihad" outside Iraq because his group is suffering shortage of followers and capabilities, and feels that it cannot disrupt the political developments in Iraq.

There have been reports about an internal crisis within Al-Qa'ida network in several areas. This crisis will certainly reflect on Al-Zarqawi and his group in Iraq.

Al-Zarqawi had insinuated his intention to leave Iraq in one of his letters to Al-Qa'ida leaders in Afghanistan. He clearly noted that he might leave Iraq for a new battle arena.

The reports also noted that the current internal crisis portends a rift within Al-Qa'ida, which will produce several trends. The first signs of this crisis emerged when Salih al-Awfi, who is supposed to be the new Al-Qa'ida official in Saudi Arabia, urged network members to remain in the kingdom to kill Westerners instead of going to Iraq. Less than 24 hours to his call, sources reported that Murjan al-Jawhari (Abu-Dujanah) began a movement within the circles of Egyptians who are affiliated with the alliance between Al-Jihad [Egyptian Islamic Jihad] and Al-Qa'ida networks, urging them to break away.

Fundamentalist sources have linked Abu-Dujanah's new position with his former position that rejects the formation of the World Islamic Front, which was agreed upon between the leader of the Egyptian [Islamic] "Jihad" Ayman al-Zawahiri and Al-Qa'ida leader Usama Bin-Ladin.

The fundamentalist sources also said that Abu-Dujanah has recently managed to hold contacts with several network leaders to persuade them to join him, break away from Al-Qa'ida network, and formulate a new action strategy.

Circles close to Al-Qa'ida note that the calls by Al-Awfi and by Al-Jawhari will reflect negatively on Al-Zarqawi's movement in Iraq, because they will reduce to a great extent the advent of Al-Qa'ida elements from Saudi Arabia to participate in operations in Iraq, and will contribute toward returning many infiltrators back to Iraq.

The same sources indicate that Al-Zarqawi will also face logistic problems that have to do with financing and resources. This is because Al-Awfi and Al-Jawhari will focus their efforts and resources toward their declared objective, and thus support for Al-Zarqawi will be at the bottom of their list of priorities.

Medicine Men and one other name that isn't with me, 5 years ago when i went on the Internet, I wrote to a nice young man and he was studying to be a medicine man, so I filled his mailbox, with all I could find to help him heal.

Wrong, they are not healers and all those who announce they are, are usually "adopted" by a phony Indian.

Turned out it wasn't healing with herbs, but trips with herbs that he wanted the info on.

No, I have no patience with false prophets and false medicine men.

But there are some dreams that no Elder could or WOULD tell you the answer to.

When God sends you a message, he wants it to be for you and it is from him, pray and be calm, he will tell you what he wants you to know.

Most dreams are planted in the subconscious by the person who is dreaming and is about something they read or thought of.

If they bother you, write them down, it may be 20 years, before it all comes clear to you.

The act of writing them down, will cure most of them.

I will add that in working with the subconscious and wanting to get into your own mind for understanding of self, turn off the computer and use several sheets of paper.

The electricity currents will skew your thoughts and you won't be writing down your own.

The paper method works wonders for figuring out terrorists, and all problems of life.

I was shocked when I did a mind dump one day and when it was all on paper, it turned out that what i had thought I wanted wasn't it at all, instead I went to Brokers school and became a broker.

I started the paper that day, with "shall i get out of real estate?"

Did anyone ever post the video link for this:

Al-Arabiyah Airs Salvation Movement Video Threatening Al-Zarqawi

Al-Arabiyah Television (Dubai), in Arabic, 1016 GMT, 06 Jul 04

A group calling itself the Salvation Movement [Harakat al-Inqath] has directed an open threat to Abu-Mus'ab al-Zarqawi demanding him to leave Iraqi lands in view of his actions, which the movement considered as acts of terrorism that harm the interests of the Iraqi citizen. Al-Arabiyah Television has received a videotape from some members of the movement, in which they deliver a statement threatening to kill anyone who helps the groups that carry out acts of violence that result in the death of innocent Iraqis. . Click here to view part of the video clip as shown on Al-Arabiyah Television

The dream was simple, only a few elements. It's still as vivid as a memory. Now that you have mentioned it, the elder looked away and seemed uncomfortable. It may have been the dream or the fact that I presented it to him.

It's unimportant.

Two Georgia counties have installed Ten Commandments displays in their courthouses in the past week, ignoring lawsuits in other counties.

Says Henry County commissioner Gerry Adams, "I don't see anything wrong with saying you ought not be killin' or stealin'."

You're right about Ken Lay and Enron and all the other securities scandals. they were all Clinton cronies. The economy was false, high paying fake jobs in dotcoms/fake companies, a house of cards pumped up with 401K/mutual funds etc. monies. It was all a total sham.Recall how desperate they were for Gore to win. Big Al didn't get called AlWhore for nothing. They even went so far as to do his makeup like our beloved Ronald Reagan for the debate with Bush. then remember how he walked up behind Bush like he wanted to take him on. These actions are not normal, even in politics. They struck me as very desperate moves. Then they tried to steal the election with hanging chads crap and disinfranchised voter BS. Imagine if Gore were in now. Forget about the terrorists because they would be a none issue. We would probably be total communists by now with nutjobs/deviants in all our positions of power. It would be ugly.

Found a Islamic center in Richland, WA. What stuck me as so odd (and I'm no expert so it may not be odd) is Richland is right next to Hanford

Actually, not so odd. Many Muslim engineers and scientists work at Hanford, along with Hindus, Jews, Christians, atheists and others who have nothing to do with this discussion. The center is actually in West Richland, is kept up nicely and is in an area of newer homes. I have never heard of any problems related to it (doesn't mean I never will).

Georgia makes me smile.

About time we start to fight the ACLU and the commies who rule it.

I am smiling, as my first thought is that they had the big world meeting in June and and the commies couldn't even park their busses to get off and protest.

If they find God, maybe some of the others will too.

RE: My post 2594

I have to say I detect a little bit of paranoia concerning the Islamic center in West Richland. These PhD engineers, scientists, and M.D.s (a fair number of whom I have met), don't threaten me in the least. Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear.
