A 23-year-old female teacher in Tampa, Fla., was arrested Monday for the second time on charges of having sex with a 14-year-old male student.
Debra Lafave, (pictured, Below) was accompanied by her new attorney, John Fitzgibbons as she surrendered to Marion County deputies in Ocala.
Lafave, who is married, is a reading teacher at Greco Middle School in Temple Terrace, just northeast of Tampa.
The new charges accuse Lafave of pursuing the 14-year-old student to Ocala, Fla., while he was visiting his 15-year-old cousin.
Detectives said Lafave had sex with the student twice in Ocala - once in the back seat of her car while the cousin drove around town and then again in the car while parked at Brick City Park.
In police statements made by the 15-year-old witness, Lafave allegedly said that she was turned-on by the fact that what she was doing was illegal, WFTS-TV reported.
Lafave has been place on administrative leave.
I had a science teacher that looked like her when I was in 7th grade..............I think every 14 year old boy had a teacher that looked like her ! Of course the 14 year old in question claims he "had" her....:o)
I'd hit dat !
Stay safe !
Yeah...that's why they're designed like that....
..so you rise to the bait even if you know it's a rubber worm with a snelled treble-hook that's gonna kill you.
"for the second time"
Yep, she's the real thing.
I know someone really well who lost his virginity at 14 (and a half) to a 22 year old woman and was not injured...in the least.
*at least I feel ok now 32 years later....and yep, she was married too. Very very few 14 year old boys are not going for that..especially is they are pleasing enough as this woman.
if she was the boy's teacher, I find more problematic and her being married of course.
If debra will sponsor my US tourist visa, I'll surely do whatever she wants.
KABLAM
13 yrs old.
You were lucky. It was a "dog" whistle.
Do you know any 14 year old girls who lost their virginity to grown men and were not injured in the least?
Then how else are people supposed to learn it? ;p
not off hand which is why conventional wisdom rarely equivocates between boys and girls in these matters....as well it shouldn't.
Adults who have sex with children are rapists. Rapists should be locked up.
Anyone who apologises for rapists has a moral clock which is not on time.
My wife asserts that any woman/girl, regardless of age, that loses their virginity to any man at all is severely and permanently injured.
But then again, she's married to a pervert (me).

My condolences
That's because of Daylight Savings Time; not morals!
FREE DEBRA
Damn! It's Mary Kay Letourneau all over again! However, I don't think even Letourneau dared to corrupt TWO minors at once!
my impression is that girls seem to be more sensitive to sexual abuse and experience more harm. factors such as the amount of force, the actual activity, and yes, whether or not it was a highly attractive female probably influence the amount of harm done to a boy.
i suspect that a boy coerced by a big ugly woman would suffer more harm than one seduced by a hot, young, attractive woman. i realize that the law can't take these factors into account, but whether being seduced by an attractive young woman is really harmful abuse for a teenage boy is my question.
but shouldn't we ask ADULT MEN who were seduced as teenagers by incredibly good-looking young women whether or not they suffered harm?
suppose they say it was a positive experience for them?
i suspect the sex of the victim really does make a difference in terms of the degree of harm. and i suspect that for teenage boys, the attractiveness of the seductress makes a real difference too.
i would pick being seduced by this teacher over a lot of things that happened to me during school that were not considered abuse.
thanks for your reply!
