I live about half way between an Episcopal church and an Espicopal chapel, just stuck my head outside, the bells at at least one of them are ringing.

For a Christian man, "it is better the death than the day of birth." (Eccl 7:1). He is in God's bosom, knowing that he's served God to the fullest.
Ronald Reagan used all his talents to serve God, his country and fellow men. Now Jesus will tell him:
Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness! (St Matt 25:21)
May God allow us to follow Reagan's example.

Not the comment of a "lady" for grieving children.

He REALLY understood the importance of symbols and ceremony and restored the lustre of the Presidency, but remembered that in the end it is people that matter and the rest is all just playing dress-up. Bump
He also, somehow, drew the best performance out of all.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousands winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

LOL!! Just trying to make a point in my own smart*** way. I won't be on the Serious Thread either. sounds like scripts will be passed around on what can, should and may be said. I'll stick with life as it happens. Good, bad, funny, sad, whatever.

I hear the bells playing downtown in our town as well. Lovely sound....

That verse always gets me and bears repeating:
