LOL!! Just trying to make a point in my own smart*** way. I won't be on the Serious Thread either. sounds like scripts will be passed around on what can, should and may be said. I'll stick with life as it happens. Good, bad, funny, sad, whatever.
Agreed. A live thread is exactly that. It's not a memorial thread. This is a "Oh my God, did you see that?!" thread.
Now, on a more serious note, Ronald Reagan was my first Commander-In-Chief when I was in the military. He was also someone who inspired me as a teenager in many ways - some of which I didn't recognize at the time. His optimism, his love and pride of country etc.. all played a part in making me who I am today. I may not take everything seriously, but I do take the important things seriously, and that is ALSO a lesson he toaught us all.
