Any person would be lucky to have Dick Cheney stand up for them at their funeral. What a class act.

Nancy Reagan reminds me of my own mother. My mom wasn't 'emotional' at my father's funeral but they had been married almost 50 years. When my father died we had a "grief fest". When my mother passed away we had what I called a "symphony of snot". That's emotional. You just don't do it at the public ceremony.
I'm sure Nancy Reagan is feeling plenty of emotion right now but she also has dignity and class.

Cheney made the same points, but without partisanship and with dignity. Would you prefer a Wellstone funerally?

I didn't say anything he said wasn't true -- it was not TRUTH (which belongs to God). There was no need to have even a shadow of the Wellstone fiasco. There were plenty of other things, just as true, that he could have said. Or he could have left some out, and maybe he wouldn't have had to talk so fast.
I'm sure the Lord appreciates your notation of what is His or not.
Thanks for the clarification on the word "truth". Can you define "barf"? Why yes, it seems you can....

I'd say Mrs. Reagan looks like a grieving lady who was never enlightened enough to realize that "it's all about me." She's grieving, all right, but she also knows that this is her last duty to the nation as a First Lady, and she's seeing it through.

Also, I heard today that the only living President who hasn't made there funeral plans yet is Clinton. He probably believes he is immortal. He looks in the mirror and thinks, "Aw, c'mon, God could never make something this good looking kick the bucket!"
