God Bless you Peach I love you!

Nittany ...there is the money quote I mentioned.

"I didn't agree with a lot of the things he was doing, obviously," Kerry said of Reagan, whom he called a "very likable guy." But he added that he got along well with the Republican, was able to work with him and visited the White House a number of times during his two terms.

"I met with Reagan a lot more than I've met with this president," Kerry said.

You bet he is busy - the UN just passed his resolution and passed it unanimously.

What would I possibly have to say to the classless jackass from Massachusetts? (The junior one, I mean).

Other than, maybe ...

"I think that you should do the honorable thing. Admiral Boorda ... for a lesser thing ... KILLED HIMSELF!!"

Tom Selleck stood in line to pay his respects.

I'm not surprised; Tom is a class act.

Yeah, I forgot that he will lay in state in Washington.

My only point was that he should be allowed to pay his respects. Like everyone else.

If he didn't go, people would call it a snub.

Did that put him in a damned if he does, damned if doesn't position?

NO, because, he could have dropped in, paid his respects with trying to draw atention to himself.

This incident probably will not be Kerry's Dukakis in Tank moment, but it presages the defining moment.

I disagree. Just as sure as Dukakis SHOULD have looked in a mirror when he put on that helmet, and Howard Dean should have counted to 10 silently before he let loose, and Gore should have forceably stopped his feet as they were walking to W.'s space, kerry should have put that thumb someplace besides up in the air as he was being driven away. I think that is the photo that ends it all.

Cute, isn't it? Fox just showed it during their news break too.

(I know it doesn't really go on this thread, but looked around and didn't see another thread where it might get seen, so just put it here.)

Kerry commented he meet more with President Reagan...than he has meet with President Bush....he couldn't resist the dig.

You're not serious...are you?

Unfortunately, he is. Kerry, a swine before pearls.

"It was reported that Kerry asked for more minorities on his SS detail."

Nice in theory, but, in practice, it could actually make him (and them) more of a target, no???

Yes, that's wonderful, but watch and see how the media spins it and tries to minimize it.

That thumb think is KKK.

I was gonna save that tidbit until after he was "official" but the MF pissed me off with the thumb back like that in his Effin car while leaving Simi.

Effin swine...

Can someone get sKerry with grand wizard garb with his long and somber face...

SOB deserves it now, not later this summer!

Another wizard hat with an Effin thumb back shot would be priceless, too.

Wish I knew how to edit photos, so I didn't have to farm out!

Am I the only one that doesn't see this as a big deal? Kerry is a schmuck, but not for this. Of course he is going to pay his respects to Reagan, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of dims do. Even if they didn't like his policies, a lot of them liked the guy. And even if they didn't like the guy, he was the president, and it is fitting to show some respect. It would be suicide for Kerry to stay away! (I betchya if Carter died, Bush would find something nice to say about him, somehow). That's just the way politics works!
