LOS ANGELES Ten years after the double murder for which he was acquitted, O.J. Simpson says he is angry at slain ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and hopes to star in a new TV reality show.
"There are times I am angry at her," the NFL Hall of Famer said in comments Fox News Channel aired last night. "There are things that she could be doing with the kids better than I, you know? When it's emotional stuff, especially with my daughter, I am angry with her. I am angry that she found herself hanging out with the group of who are these people?"
Acquitted of murder charges in the June 12, 1994, double slayings of Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman but later found liable for their deaths in a civil trial, Simpson, 56, steadfastly has maintained his innocence, insisting his ex-wife fell victim to a shadowy world of crime and drugs.
Since families of the murder victims were awarded $33.5 million in damages in 1997, Simpson and his children have retreated into seclusion, living near Miami on a $4 million pension that is exempt from civil-court judgments.
Asked about reports of his involvement in an upcoming reality show, Simpson said, "It's a takeoff on something called 'Punk'd,' " an MTV hidden-camera show featuring Ashton Kutcher pranks on celebrities. "It's me doing gags as Juice ... what they call 'juicing' people." Simpson earned the nickname Juice during his career as a running back
Damn. I mean, just damn. What a piece of work.
Let me just say that the idea of Orenthal pulling a prank on somebody makes me ever so slightly uneasy, considering how the one ten years ago turned out.
I hope that the prop dept remembers to use rubber knifes. Ouch!
I'd call the show "Justified Shoot."
Heh, heh. We're at the palatial estate of Mr. David Spade. We're going to play a little prank on our fair-skinned, girlish little celebrity target today.
See, once David opens his garage door, he's going to find me and Al Cowlings hiding behind his minivan. But see, he won't know we're hiding there until he opens his car door. Then, we're going to jump out from behind his bumper, grab him by his scrawny little neck, and make repeated stabbing motions with our index fingers and thumbs.
Of course, they'll be holding fake ginsu knives while we're doing this; but David won't know that they're fake. Tee-hee!
Oh snap! Here comes David right now. A.C. Run behind his SUV and hide.
Boy, this is going to be 'Sunny Delightful.' Heh, heh.
I heard a rumor that O.J. was asking between $60,000 & $100,000 for interviews. I noticed that Greta has an "interview" with him one night. I wonder if they paid him? If they did she will get an email from me! No one should be paying that MURDERER for ANYTHING!
Knowing MTV, if they really, really wanted to be "cutting edge", they could make the premise of the show that a young, hopeful starlet has to spend the week with OJ alone in his home. If she survives, and her head isn't inadvertently separated from her shoulders, MTV will arrange her appearance in an upcoming "Jackass" movie sequel.
No need to bite the woman's head off over it.
"I am angry that she found herself hanging out with the group of who are these people?"
Ex-NFL players, whose swollen sense of racial and sexual entitlement includes the foul personal belief that they're allowed to kill whomever they want, whenever they please, and get away with it? Just a guess, mind.
OJ angry with Nicole..... now thats a given.
maybe he'd like to take another hack at her
Leni
"OJ angry with Nicole" - Uhm yes....that's why she's been dead for 10 years!!!! This scum knows he's gotten away with murder so he doesn't even watch what he says or how he says it! I just pray for his children.
Capricorn One showed one the tube last week. That's the first time I've seen OJ on screen in 10 years.
ha ha ha. I just laughed out loud!!! I would love to see that!!!! I'd have a heatattack!!!!
He was really, REALLY, angry with her 10 years ago.
