"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia - Tens of American, European and other hostages were released Sunday and a gunman believed to be the lead Islamic militant holding them was arrested, a Saudi security official said, adding that two other gunmen were "in the process of being arrested."
We are the "Stotters" who make ourselves aware of the enemy who wishes to do us harm
Thanks. I hadn't realized that.
It is exactly the problem faced by drivers in border states today, except a full 18-wheel truck does a lot more damage than a passenger car. Everyone will see car insurance rates rise significantly with required "no fault" insurance to cover all the uninsured Mexican drivers. Once again, they enjoy the fruits of our stupidity.
I should clarify that I'm not trying to discourage anyone else from praying for anyone. More my style to pray for the poor, sick, etc. To each his own.
This link will lead you to pictures taken today at the G 8 Summit.
Both Putin and Mrs. Putin are there.

Indeed. The new "surgical strike" technique is to send a 4 man squad into a building and kill everyone who can't produce proof of being a muslim. That works both ways. There are buildings occupied 5 times a day where you don't have to ask for id to offer a counter attack the other way. Know your enemy...

Cindy, what a wonderful wording you used here. It is a true statement and I love it. Peaceful dreams to you tonight! Back to fighting the terrorist threats tomorrow, God willing!
Perfectly said.
Bookmarking...off to catch some zzzzz.
Thank you Ruth.
Yahoo has pictures of Putin and wife at a Bush Dinner, I think it was at the G-8 meeting, last night.
OK I stand corrected.
bkmark
No, correcting intended, it was that I happened to see the pictures, and thought that there was a gleam in Putins eye as he admired Laura....
there are so many news reports on who is and isn't at the G-8 meeting, that it is funny. For every one there, so stated, there are 2 that say they are not there.
Wonder if the ones there are real or fill ins?
Thank you Mama Dearest.
I received this in one of those "Pass It On e-Mails" & thought it was neat enough to share here :)

Undeniable Facts
There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq during the month of
January..... in the fair city of Detroit (Michigan) there were 35 murders in the month of January. That's one American city folks, about as deadly as the entire war torn country of Iraq!
Worst president in history?
The following appeared in the Durham, NC local paper as a letter to the editor.
Liberals claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war. They complain about his prosecution of it. One liberal recently claimed Bush was the worst president in U.S. history. Let's clear up one point: We didn't start the war on terror. Try to remember, it was started by terrorists BEFORE 9/11.
Let's look at the "worst" president and mismanagement claims.
FDR led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us: Japan did.
From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an average of 112,500 per year.
Truman finished that war and started one in Korea, North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an average of 18,333 per year.
John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us. I think history might show Eisenhower committed the troops and Kennedy was honoring that commitment.
Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year.
Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent, Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
In the two years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Lybia, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people. We lost 600 soldiers, an average of 300 a year. Bush did all this abroad while not allowing another terrorist attack at home.
Worst president in history? Come on!
The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking, but...
It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51 day operation.
We've been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.
It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Teddy Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.
It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in
Florida!!!!
Our military is GREAT! PASS IT ON.

Thanks for the info. I was listening to the show last night and did catch him state that. We seem to be rounding 'em up across the globe. I'll be checking the local wires today for updates.
