A word of caution for all of us.

I just read a note from another T.M., who had gotten some substance on her arm in a Walmart, remembers something wet on the cart and now has a rash and blisters. which she treated herself.

How I wish that she had gone to the Manager at once, first aid and a sample of it on a clean dry kleenex.

Now she has a red spot and no idea of what she got on her.

Surely it was only a bottle of something that leaked on the cart, but what if it wasn't and was there for a reason?

Guess I want to say, "GET A SAMPLE OF IT" & "MAKE THE STORE AWARE OF IT".........

Now that i am thinking, I am wondering what would happen if a baby got it in the mouth or eye?

A couple years ago, there was a thread on shopping carts and it was thought that the handle might be the most dangerous item in a store.

Babies play in a full diaper and hold the handle.

People with every disease ever invented in the world, sneeze or cough politely in their hands and grab the handle.

After reading that thread, I have never looked at shopping carts the same.

and then there is the terrorist.

That is what grannies are for, to worry.

Dear Granny-

About 2 months ago we were driving on the Cross Bronx Expressway. Two "ME- looking" young men were standing on a bridge overlooking the highway, and threw some liquid at the cars.

Hope it was just water.

AMEN. AMEN.

VERY WISE EXHORTATION, IMHO.

Granny, you are so right. We all need that reminder especially in this day and age of terrorism.

I always try to remember to disinfect my hands, face, and whatever I touched as soon as I return from shopping because of the germy carts. It is also good to wipe car door handles, the steering wheel, house door knob, and even house and car keys after shopping. Ick.
