Hi fellow Freepers,
I have just found out my mother has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, she is the sweetest, kindest woman I know (maybe a little biased)She is very much the June Cleaver type, always doing for others before herself. From the sounds of things it is already far advanced, and the survival rates are very low for this type of cancer. Please take a moment to pray for her,for recovery or at least to ease the pain.

I am truly amazed at the caring and hope put forth by the wonderful people on this site. I don't know what to say other than Thank You , each and every one of you. My family and I are in Canada, I have voiced my support for the US and it's people for many years, even before the events of the last few years. It angers me when Canadians speak ill of of our best friends and family, the Americans.
I feel like printing all these incredible repsonses and prayers off as a small reminder to Canadians I know that Americans have the biggest hearts and are the most helpful, caring people on the planet.
God Bless every one of you who have posted, and those who have read and sent a silent prayer. Thank you to all who have sent links and telephone numbers. I am humbled by the generous outporing and true fellowship from everyone here.
I will keep you all updated to my Mom's progress
(my sister called a short time ago to say she had just left my mother in the hospital and that her spirits seemed to be up tonight, I feel that was a response to all of you incredible peoples prayers THANK YOU!)

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, Greg. Prayers being sent for her, for healing of her body and spirit. The Peace of the Lord be with her, and your family..... Prayers for you, for comfort, and that you strongly feel the presence of our Lord Jesus as He carries you through this difficult time. I ask in the Name of Jesus the Lord- Amen.
