I would love to see thousands of Freepers use it whenever the liars
ABCNNBC BS = FRAUDCASTERS start spreading their bs.
It would make a great bumper sticker.
Perhaps a small addition: "Old Media Fraudcasters" ???

Thanks for the post and pings, folks. "I Ask That the American People Be Brave"
Excerpt:
A New E-Mail from the Front in Iraq: "I Ask That the American People Be Brave" I have just received an e-mail from Army Spc. Joe Roche, who was briefly able to take a break from the thick of the fighting against Al-Sadr's forces in Iraq to tell us what he is seeing and experiencing.
Please let me know if you want ON or OFF my General Interest ping list!. . .don't be shy.

The problem with bumper stickers is the limited space and the need for immediate mental impact with a few words.
I vaguely remember reading years ago that once you got past 3 words, each 4-5 letter word added to a bumper sticker reduced the impact by about 20%.

Thats how I read it too... fills in a missing piece of the puzzle that obviously cannot be publicized without effecting the planned end-state... This young soldier is one very sharp man (or woman?). Stands head and shoulders above many political "leaders" in this country.

The basis of our evaluation over a year ago was that Sadr presented a formidable and possibly impossible threat.Huh?
Thanks for the post. All America should read this and keep the faith.

How can you not be proud of these young people. They see their mission clearly, they know what is at stake. If we had a decent media we'd all know about this instead of just a few who read this forum.

News from the front Walt, that sure dosen't jive with the Walter Cronkite/Dan Rather ("Is it Vietnam yet"?) school of propaganda journalism we are seeing from our Copperhead media here.

I read on a post somewhere recently (sorry, I am unable to remember the thread), that one of these sorry Islamofascists said that jihad was their way of life. To which someone noted, that the Crusades are our history/culture.
I think it's time we started thinking of this as the Crusades of the 21st Century and stop apologizing for it!

The pessimists would have you believe this is a disaster. Don't listen to them. I think some of them feel that their reputations require our failure because they have been so negative all along, so they are jumping at every opportunity to sensationalize what is happening here as a disaster. This has to be done, and we are doing it.
Don't be seduced by those who would rather that we sit back and just enjoy the freedoms past generations of Americans have sacrificed to gain for us. This is our time to earn it. I remember President Bush saying after the September 11th attacks: "The commitment of our Fathers is now the calling of our time."
The first thing I thought as an American and Vet was I feel secure and proud when I read his words. Watching what is happening with Sadr, you can just see what he is talking about taking place. All the naysayers are so wrong! Our troops are brilliant and awesome! We need to be patient. After all, they are the ones eating sand while we are living here in the comfort of our homes watching this on tv!
I wish there was a way for him to know that a TON of us know the media are pessimists with a liberal agenda.
As Vets who lived through Vietnam we worry that these young men and women will think Americans have abandoned them. We can't let that happen. We just can't.
We need to start a flag campaign somehow. Like the one after 9-11. A real "visual" show of support.
In this house, we have never abandoned them. We know they are doing a great job. We WILL win this and we've never lagged in our support. NEVER. It has never wavered .. not once!
God Bless our troops! God Bless President Bush and his administration!
To: Howlin
I ask that the American people be brave. Don't fall for the spin by the weak and timid amongst you that are portraying this battle as a disaster I haven't gone anywhere ... I have full faith in our brave military and the leadership
God Bless Them All
