Neither President Bush, Powell, CHeney or any other official has ruled out that Iraq was involved in 9/11. Quite the contrary - they have consistently said that they haven't seen any linkage YET.

As well, we know Iraq had WMD. They used them. Powell showed satellite photos at the UN which reflected the fact that Iraq may be shipping WMD to Syria. Everything I have seen to date seems to fit with that scheme.

Additionally, to pretend that Iraq and AQ did not have ties is to close your eyes to the realities on the ground, friend. Iraq at least knew 9/11 was coming. I doubt Osama bin Laden just decided to notify Saddam that 9/11 was coming because he liked to gossip.

Less than two months before 9/11/01, the state-controlled Iraqi newspaper “Al-Nasiriya” carried a column headlined, “American, an Obsession called Osama Bin Ladin.” (July 21, 2001)

In the piece, Baath Party writer Naeem Abd Muhalhal predicted that bin Laden would attack the US “with the seriousness of the Bedouin of the desert about the way he will try to bomb the Pentagon after he destroys the White House.”

The same state-approved column also insisted that bin Laden “will strike America on the arm that is already hurting,” and that the US “will curse the memory of Frank Sinatra every time he hears his songs” – an apparent reference to the Sinatra classic, “New York, New York”.

Additionally, the link below has many articles regarding links that OBL and Saddam had. Hundreds of articles were written in the 1990's about the world's alarm at the growing relationship between OBL and Saddam. Read a little and educate yourself.

But don't try to peddle that "no relationship" crap here because that boat won't float.

The primary problem is that the people who are conservative in nature and politics are currently at work! They won't offer their support until they are finished with their day.

Don't forget about the White House comment line. It is staffed with very nice ladies who take down every thing you have to say. I just called them to voice my support for both President Bush and for Rummy.

White House comment line: 202-456-1111

I couldn't find an email address or phone or fax number for Ruimmy's office.

I didn't mean to imply that I didn't respond accordingly and confront them with their ignorance of the facts. It was just that after a certain point, it was no longer productive to do so and it was time to leave.

I forgot to mention that one of them was complaining about having to give up FOOD because it costs so much to fill up their SUV. sheesh

There was a pre-war agreement with the media that they would not air certain information without approval, based on the premise that it could give away plans and/or put our troops in danger.

The hearing specifically addresses the issue of these pictures as being harmful to our troops. Have they therefore violated their "contract" with "THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES"?

Frist came in just as the allotted time for the hearing ended. Rummy & Co had to be in the House for a 2:30 hearing there. The last questioner offered Frist his time to make a few comments, but Frist declined. Then, after it was already 2:30, Frist took advantage of his position as Majority Leader, and made some completely self-serving, "I hope I make the evening news" statement that added nothing to the hearing.

Rummy had already risen to leave, but had to sit back down and listen to Frist "do his thing". I hate it when Republicans act no better than Democrats..but then, among senators, there's hardly any difference.

That's because all the questioning so far has been by the Repuplican Chairman (Hunter?)

The grandstanding will soon start ...

It is not a question of winning them over. It is just an acknowledgement that there is more than one point of view. Conservatives have kept quiet for far too long.

Larger majority in the House. The Senate is filled with downright evil and nasty people who are attempting to fulfill the "plan" outlined in their leaked Intel memo.
