Ok, I'm an idiot. I missed the sentence the first time that said the girl's father snapped the picture. But he still doesn't look too happy about having the picture taken to me.

kerry will insist it was a photo-op, President Bush is wrong to take advantage of Ashley, and the President Bush should resign now.

"The way he was holding me, with my head against his chest, it felt like he was trying to protect me," Ashley said. "I thought, 'Here is the most powerful guy in the world, and he wants to make sure I'm safe.' I definitely had a couple of tears in my eyes, which is pretty unusual for me." God bless you, Ashley.

hehe... the President Bush... that just sounds funny. I meant President Bush or simply the President.

"You are loosing focus on the main issue here. The United States is torturing prisoners and we MUST get to the bottom of it ASAP. "
This photo will not be seen in the major media. Maybe someone can send the story to Fox.

Who took the picture, this girl's family or a news photographer? I think the neighbor that was with the girl photographed took the picture. It sure wasn't a staged photo op for sure.....the look on the President's face says it all.

This is like the time the boy died who lived in the ranch next door to the Bush's in Crawford, TX. The funeral and arrangements were all paid for by an anonymous donor. It was also the Secret Service who were first responders to pull him out of the well where he drowned. Bush didn't want any credit for his help, he just wanted to ease their pain. I don't think he would want any media to plaster this picture up, for fear that the girl wouldn't want that.
