I particularly like the "Conflict of Interest" booklet. Leave it to Gorelick to have written a booklet on the exact issue she is guilty of.

...the exact issue she is guilty of

Seems to be her strength. So Clintonian -- accuse others of doing what you yourself are actually guilty of.

Good catch, BTW

Interesting. Are any of these on the internet somewhere? I'd especially like to see "Destruction of Evidence"--it, too, seems so typical of how Clinton ran things.

Evidence? You want evidence

The organization and conduct of, and coverup by, this committee is
more than enough insight and evidence into EXACTLY
how we in America became vulnerable to the 911 Atrocities by al Qaeda.

Disgraced Commissioner Kean: "Ms Gorelick is one of the finest members
of the commission and one of the most bipartisan members.
People ought to stay out of our business."

We're living in an upsidedown world where nothing makes sense anymore. Shame no longer exists, thanks to the father of "I'm Okay, You're Okay and everything's Okay", Phil Donohue. My, we've come a long way down the road to destruction.

There needs to be a line drawn drawn in the sand with Gorelick. IMO, if conservatives don't throw an absolute fit and raise hell to get that b*tch off of the 9/11 commission, the dems win in a BIG way. They know that conservatives by nature "tolerate" things they don't agree with because its too much trouble to "rock the boat".

It's time, folks, to not only rock the boat, but sink the sonofabitch!

Also in 1989, she co-authored "Destruction of Evidence"<

No wonder Janet and Bill picked her to be #2 at DOJ.

Hmmm...It figures, $hrillarys' Lackey writes ALL these articles and books about about "Proper Legal procedures/ethics"...and doesn't follow them herself, typical Clinton behavior....all that's missing, are the murders/"rub-outs".

Looks like this book is used a lot by the courts.

Destruction of Evidence has been cited by the numerous federal courts including the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second Circuit, Third Circuit, Fifth Circuit, Eighth Circuit, and District of Columbia Circuit, and by the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Arkansas, the District of Colorado, the District of the District of Columbia, the District of Maryland, the District of Massachusetts, the District of Minnesota, the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of New York, the Northern District of Oklahoma, and Eastern District of Pennsylvania as well as several state courts including the Supreme Courts of Alaska, Missouri, New Hampshire, and Texas and the Florida District Court of Appeal, the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, and the Pennsylvania Superior Court.  The companion article, Truth and Uncertainty: Legal Control of the Destruction of Evidence has been cited by United States Court of Appeal for the Seventh Circuit, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Courts of Alaska, New Jersey, and New Mexico, as well as the California Court of Appeal, Louisiana Court of Appeal, and the New Jersey Superior Court.

Among Western governments, the United States has a leading role in this respect, with executive guidance coming most specifically in Presidential Decision Directive 63 (PDD-63) signed by President Clinton in April 1998.26 Entitled `Critical Infrastructure Protection', PDD-63 calls for a national effort to ensure the security of increasingly vulnerable and interconnected infrastructures in the United States, and emphasizes the importance of the partnership between the government and private sectors and the importance of international cooperation. PDD-63 also creates the National Infrastructure Protection Center (NIPC) under the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The NIPC's mission is to act as the focal agency for gathering information on threats to infrastructure, providing timely warning of attacks, analysis and law enforcement investigation and response

For the United States, this public awareness campaign was initiated in July 1996, when the President's Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection (PCCIP) was established to develop a strategy for protecting and ensuring the continued operation of the nation's computer systems and networks, particularly those governing telecommunications, oil and gas, electricity, bank and financial operations, transportation, water supplies, critical emergency response and government. Executive Order No. 13010, 61 Fed. Reg. 37, 347 (1996). The PCCIP's chairman, Robert Marsh, along with his team of 18, which included former Deputy Attorney-General Jamie Gorelick and former Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee Sam Nunn, spent a year investigating the nation's vulnerabilities from computer attacks and formulating policy proposals for how the US was going to protect its infrastructure. In its October 1997 report, `Critical Foundations: Protecting Americas Infrastructures', the PCCIP described the potentially devastating implications of poor information security from a national perspective and discussed recommendations. While the Report of the PCCIP proposed numerous broad measures of infrastructure security such as IW early warning systems and a cooperative relationship between public and private sector entities, the report makes no mention of the international dimension of the problem of security in cyberspace. `Critical Foundations, Protecting America's Infrastructures' (Report of the President's Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection, Washington, DC, October 1997), available at

Ms. Gorelick sure has been busy

Here's her latest book, a sequel to Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House (sarcasm)

Ms. Gorelick

Builds

Her

Dream Wall

Foreword by Osama bin Laden.
Afterword by Thomas Daschle.
Finalword by Hillary Clinton.

Critics are raving about the author's ability to maintain a truly palpable air of smiling lightheartedness, even after thousands of her fellow countrymen are killed.

Mystery lovers will be thrilled to learn if the main character will clean the wall to try to erase her fingerprints and those of her friends.

Publisher review from Amazon for "Destruction of Evidence":

Editorial Reviews The publisher, John Wiley & Sons A comprehensive survey and systematic analysis of the statutes and case law from all fifty states and the federal system governing destruction of evidence. Synthesizes the many doctrines regulating destruction of evidence and reviews the distinct bodies of law that have developed in the contexts of civil litigation, criminal prosecutions, and professional disciplinary proceedings. Considers implications for practice, including the problems of counseling clients on the legality of routine document management problems, as well as those arising in litigation when evidence has already been destroyed.

GORELICK TO LEAVE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT

* One of Ms. Gorelick's principal priorities was to help prepare the Justice Department to be able to respond effectively to the new challenges of transnational crime and terrorism. To do this, she forged new relationships and administrative protocols with the Departments of State, Treasury and Defense, and with the intelligence community.

(* Hence, her conflict of interest)

The Deputy Attorney General also worked with the Department's law enforcement components to better respond to crisis situations in the aftermath of the incidents at Ruby Ridge and Waco. After the bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City in April 1995, she coordinated the government's overall response to the bombing and supervised the investigative and prosecutorial response to the crisis.

"In all of her work with law enforcement," Reno added, "Jamie displayed a sensitivity to the civil liberties of our citizens that gave comfort to all of us who care deeply about the Constitution."terrorists.(My translation)
