I trust you were watching "Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory" on Ch. 11, like myself.

I do respect LOTR fans, and all the work that went into the movie. I just wish I "got" it because it looks like I am missing out on some fun.
The hobbits get on my nerves, though. I'll admit it.

Does anyone else think Clint Eastwood and his mother look the same age?
To: LisaMalia
Depp, Penn, Sarandon, her hubby, Tim Robbins is not Sarandon's husband, he is her "partner". They have never been married but have birthed a number of bastard children.

I hope Master and Commander isn't totally shut out. Given that it didn't exactly do wonderfully at the box office, I think it needs 1 or 2 for there to be a sequel.

Ok, I like that orange. Call me crazy, but it's great. Much better than J-Lo's day glo orange sherbert number.

I finally figured out what that dress reminds me of -- the old lace curtains in my grandmother's kitchen.

Woohoo! Jennifer Garner.
To: wizardoz
Wow, that girl from Alias has some big ears. Most unfortunate hairstyle.

Realistic looking water and waves have long been the Holy Grail of CGI; was impossible to do until recently.

Mmmmmm yeah, Jennifer Garner. Very nice.
Too bad she hooked an orange sheet on the way to the Oscars...
To: John H K
The ending was a sure set up for a sequel. I don't think you have to worry.

When compared with most of the "intellectuals" in Hollyweird, a small brown fruit truly seems brilliant.

Also the thing about M and K is that a lot more of it was CGI than you'd think; but you didn't notice.
A lot of ROTK has "Look! This is amazing CGI, isn't it!".
The best CGI isn't recognizable as CGI.
