I can only imagine! Bring it on :)

Yes, they get more $ if their veiwership is high, but that is determined by the ratings books. I really think someone mislead you about knowing what you click your channels to. If you discover they are monitoring and reporting that, you could make some news.

She's also uncredited for her brilliant performance in the critically acclaimed
"Dazed and Confused".
One of my favorite movies.

"Speaking of Mel, Bill McCuddy(sp?) on FNC said he just talked to his manager and the 5 day box is up to $117Mil."That number is probably understated. It's based on estimates of Saturday's and Friday's take from preliminary numbers from the theaters. They then project from those numbers what Sunday's box office will be (since this estimate is released early on Sunday, well before more than a few East Coast matinees start). Generally, the Sunday projections are reasonably accurate since the vast majority of films follow certain patterns on opening weekend.
For Passion, they're estimating about 20 million dollars for Sunday because usually there's no really late business since Monday's a workday and this isn't a kiddie matinee film that does well early on Sunday afternoon. Also, the Oscars take away a lot of potential viewers for one night.
However, this is a film that probably had a lot of matinee business due to people going to the theater from church. And clearly it's audience is filled with a lot of people who have zero interest in the Oscars. My suspicion is that this film will do more than 125 million dollars for the five day start with a Sunday box office over 27 million.

By the way, memo to the management and marketing department at Washington Mutual: try getting Dennis Weaver back. Or Sam Elliott if Dennis is retired. If you've done one commercial since you guys bought Great Western that wasn't bone stupid, other than the "scanner" one...I missed it. And I think I've seen every one.

PS.....they don't keep tabs on what you're watching either. Then the techie lied to us. Because he said that 'DN knows what we watch'....if we don't watch MTV it has less viewership so can get less money for its commericals. We had wanted MTV removed from our feed and were told that was not possible.

No way Triplets could have reached that high. Maybe so, but we won't really know until we've seen both of them.
