I thought they weren't going to interrupt speeches with music??? Me too. It seems he was prepared to be cut-off though and said his thanks to the soldiers very quickly.
How sad... and very obvious to everyone watching..

I'm taking your advice and going for a nice walk!

That Cold Mountain song is terrible.
I'm old enough to remember when Liv Tyler actually tried to make herself look attractive.

Yep, she looks great, I noticed her earlier. But those b.c. glasses...

Liv Tyler looks exactly like Lisa Loeb tonight.

just think many are being awfully hypersensitve.
And I think you are a liberal idiot.
Bob Hope was a patriot, who gave much of his time paying tribute to our troops, and our great country.
Although I can't speak for him, I have a difficult time believing that he would approve of the playing of "Hail to the Chief" for a Tom Hanks entrance. Just another subliminal jab by the Limo Libs.
I think it was hail to the chief for bob hope they cued it to early

Michael Gambon, who is a wonderful actor. He played John Harrison in "Longitude" I really loved both stories in Longitude.
Didn't Gambon also play Robin Williams Uncle in Toys?

Someone said in 1498 that it is a Hurdy Gurdy.
I sure didn't know what the heck it was.

Funny, but that's what folks used to say about the Dixie Chicks.
I'll not give anybody who makes their living in entertainment the benefit of the doubt.

I have a bizarre weakness for female (real) musicians. I don't think this affliction has been studied enough.
