I travel a lot between NYC and Colorado Springs, so I experience the variety that America has to offer. The view out of my 14th Street Apartment in the City changed forever on September 11, 2001. I was flying from NYC to Denver on the morning of the tragedy and got stranded in the ground stop for almost three days in Dallas. The parking lot at my hometown train station was full of cars of victims that night, cars eventually claimed by relatives or towed away.
