February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

You're exactly right - it seems like it is all happening at once. It is almost too much to bear. I know patience and tolerance are virtues, but I think mine are about shot knowing it's getting worse and not better. The terrorism is from multiple sources, some of them are our elected judges and politicians. It's no wonder to me that the movie The Passion is so popular.

Train derails

A Union Pacific train hauling cars and trucks to Oklahoma City ran into high water on the tracks early today and derailed in a rural area near Kingfisher, a spokesman for the railroad said. The accident at 5:15 a.m. about one and a half mile north of Kingfisher derailed two locomotives and 13 cars of the 32-car southbound train, which was hauling automobiles from Kansas City, Kan., to Oklahoma City, railroad spokesman John Bromley said. The three crew members aboard found themselves surrounded by water.

Well call me crazy, but I should have been dead so many times in my life I can not count them all. The miraculous intervention of God was so obvious each time.
I have no doubt I have been spared for this time to serve His purpose in one way or another, whether it be as a warrior or a martyr, but I shall accept either with faith in my Lord and gladness in my heart. His will be done in my life. My God is an awesome God. And his warriors will stand in faith until the end.

A local from Las Vegas indicated the hotel in question is The Californian Hotel. I wonder if this was publicized in the Vegas papers or if only the locals know of it.

I was told the same thing about my gallstones too JP, and that they can't get them all if they are too miniscule in the attached strictures at the time they remove the gallbladder.
