Very well said.
I very much agree, feel the same way.
Though I'm still struggling more than a bit & too often with the joy part.
Would still much rather be on the mission field than caring for my Alzheimer's ridden mother.
Have typically done much better at "therewith to be content" etc.
Anyway--prayers for me on that score would be most welcome.
Thanks for the encouragement of your testimony and example.

Prayers for you and your Mom.
NUM 6:24-26
24 "The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace."
Always been one of my favorite passages. Our Lutheran pastor ends every service with it.

Dear Quix, your trial tending to your mother is so hard, that unless those who have become the parent, cannot appreciate what sacrifice you are making and the pain from so many corners. May God give you the strength you need to survive. May the Angels let you know it is ok to be human and resentful and replace that with some peace for you
Hugs my friend!
