John Kerry to strike back at "infidelity"-coverage, will appear on Imus-Show

Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry is set to strike back at the "infidelity"-coverage by "Drudge Report" joining Don Imus on his Friday morning talk show.

"Drudge Report" had first broken the news of intense US media investigation into the two-year relationship of Kerry and a young woman, which is said they had since Spring 2001. The woman is said to remain at an undisclosed location in Africa.

My money is on Team Gore/Dean leaking the next installment in this never ending saga. Dean has nothing to lose.

True. But it needs to break this weekend to help Dean in Wisconsin on Tuesday.

Harry Kerry?

Laughing.

Now, I'm thinking about the late Cub's announcer and placing Ho Chi's face under those big, thick glasses.

LATT.

How 'bout he just produces his medical records indicating he had an orchiectomy in addition to his prostatectomy. That would clear him for such accusations post 2/03. But prior to that, we'll need dental records.....

This is rich. Kerry is hitting back by going on Imus? That's like Klinton being defended by Larry Flynt.

Yeah. Your 75 is on the mark I think.

I think the biggest question is how much the big mdia will hide coverup and obfuscate. And then how much influence they have anymore compared to us, and other methods to pass on info.

Let Yaaawn Crash & Kerry have more time and more rope. We want him to get the election and PravdABDNC to know they got a sure thing. Then the airhead moms can compare a stable marriage like W and Laura to Comrade Kerry and Dingbat and his lying and cheating. Is that the marriage they dream of or will they prefer a nice steady MAN who's in Laura's bed every night at 9:30? Keep the Faith, God is in Charge.

Let the polls slide so we can gather big MO around Oct.

Pray for W and The Election

so true!

I suspect that Frankenstein's wife gave the young Alex Polier a nice chunk of the ketchup cash to get her to split and shut up! This thing stinks to high heaven!

Kerry to answer sex affair claim
By New York Correspondent PHILLIP COOREY
14Feb04

FACING the first crisis of his campaign, Democratic presidential nomination front-runner John Kerry will today respond to allegations he had a two-year affair with a young woman who has since fled the country.

Branded a political dirty trick by the Democrats, the pro-Republican Drudge Report website yesterday accused Senator Kerry, 60, of having an affair that threatened "to turn the race for the presidency on its head".

At the centre of the allegations is Alex Polier, 24, who had worked as a New York-based reporter for Associated Press. She now is now in Kenya.

Her parents, Donna and Terry, speaking from Malvern, Pennsylvania yesterday, said there was no evidence of an affair, only that Senator Kerry may have been attracted to their daughter.

Mr Polier said Senator Kerry had called his daughter "two or three years ago" to ask her to work on his re-election team. She declined.

"I think he's a sleaze-ball," Mr Polier told London's Sun newspaper.

Mrs Polier claimed Senator Kerry was "after" her daughter.

Drudge, which broke the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky scandal, alleged yesterday that a young woman, "recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry" after a two-year affair beginning in early 2001.

Drudge further claimed General Wesley Clark, in an off-the-record conversation this week with reporters just before he dropped out of the race for the White House, said that "Kerry will implode over an intern issue".

General Clark made no mention of this during an interview with CNN yesterday. Today, he will throw his support behind Senator Kerry as the Democrat candidate to challenge George W. Bush at the November 2 federal election.

Senator Kerry is married to Teresa Heinz, heiress of the food empire.

He has two daughters from his first marriage, which ended in 1990.

This report appears on NEWS.com.au.

This Friday the Thirteenth will be for Sen. Kerry not unlike the famous fourteenth century Friday the Thirteenth when the Roman Church declared war on the Knights Templar.

Then as now, no one was talking about what was happening, although everyone knew, and by the end of the day the restructuring of world power was under way.

I am almost certain that John Kerry has dealt himself a great blow in refusing to respond, when offered a clear chance by Imus, to what is not simply allegations of the American Right, but a leading international story.

The American media has this day laid to rest any question as to what party they support. The networks have been running a story about President Bush's National Guard service for over a week without proof, today they won't print what is already documented fact in the rest of the civilized world. However, thanks to the internet, the efforts of such dubious media figures as Don Imus and everyone at the networks to destroy President Bush and coronate Sen. Kerry, the people now have the means of bypassing their mularkey and getting the real story.

Every hour that the American Media sits on this story, the deeper they sink into the twilight zone of irrelavence.

Today they decided to run the leading story as that of the loss of confidence in Pres. Bush. Now isn't that ironic.

Sen. Kerry has shown himself to be exactly the type of democrat we have expected in high office, of the last four Democratic president's three have quasi-admitted infidelity. Not unlike Gary Hart, Kerry's campaign will now in all likelihood be undone by his own marital infidelity, specifically his relationship with Alex Polier of Malvern, PA, currently resident in Kenya. The girl's father, four years younger than Kerry, has already clearly stated that the Senator is a sleazeball.

Perhaps the saddest aspect of this entire story is the disgrace brought upon Mrs. Heinz, who's husband, a Republican Pennsylvania Senator was killed in a midair collision only miles from where the Polier family lives.

No woman deserves to have such a traumatic experience on the day before Valentines day or any other day. I cannot express enough our sympathies for Mrs. Heinz and clear contempt for Sen. Kerry's unscrupulous activities.

Imus gave Kerry a pass. No surpise as he seems to be skewing more and more left, witness his schmooze sessions with Matthews and Mitchell.

As for how McCord amd McGuirk put up with his drivel and bile, I guess they need the job. I know I would be sorely tempted to tell him to stuff it and walk out!

THAT IS NOT HER PICTURE

Any chance we can go a few hours on this site without someone posting a picture of a girl who was the subject of one of her stories?

On Hannity & Colmes last night, a leader of Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry specifically cited Senator Kerry's "baby killer" testimony as a contributing factor toward the treatement Vietnam veterans received when they returned home. I do think, however, that the best part of his interview was when Alan Colmes reminded this gentleman that Senator Kerry was "a war hero" and the Vietnam veteran spokesman shot back, "So was Benedict Arnold."

I caught that, too. Great comeback!

I just happened to tape last night's H&C, so I went back to check it out. The leader of Vietnam Vets Against Kerry who appeared on last night's show was Ted Sampley, who served two terms in Viet Nam. Credits running on the screen while he was speaking: Staff Sargent in Army... Served in Viet Nam in the 173rd Airborne... became Green Beret in 1969... Awarded 4 Bronze Stars... Awarded the Army Commendation medal... Awarded the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.

Of course Sampley and Colmes were completely at odds with one another regarding Kerry's behavior after he returned home from Viet Nam. Colmes was pretty hostile to Sampley right from the start. Sampley stated to Colmes at one point: "John Kerry is a traitor."

Hannity then stepped in for his part of the segment, trying to get Sampley to back down a bit on that statement. Hannity said he agreed with Sampley in that he didn't like Kerry's anti-war activities when he returned from Viet Nam, but that Sampley should "be careful of that rhetoric" in calling Kerry a traitor. Hannity then said "He served his country... he was injured for his country." Sampley replied "So did Benedict Arnold."

The article in the Sun and the Australian article talk about him being sleazy, and having an attraction for the girl, but nowhere does it state there was ever anything more, in fact it sounds like she rebuffed him. IF that is the STORY, then this is a NON-STORY, except in as much as it has effectively innoculated him against what are probably REAL allegations, and we all took the bait, sink, line, and hooker..

I've been thinking this whole story may be a ploy to get Teresa to spend her money. She previously stated that she would not spend any of her fortune on the campaign unless her husband was attacked with lies.

Perhaps Kerry told Lehane to release the info thru the Clark campaign, knowing that there is nothing to it, so that he could get his wife to open her wallet.

It's obvious that she wears the pants in the family, and he has very little influence over her.

Excellent rant...well written..thanks...for further verification, just look at the three undisputed facts, so far:

1. the lady fled to Africa...where there's NO cellular service..

2. Clark's comments to reporters..

3. Dean's sudden decision to reverse course and remain in the race no matter what..
