This Friday the Thirteenth will be for Sen. Kerry not unlike the famous fourteenth century Friday the Thirteenth when the Roman Church declared war on the Knights Templar.
Then as now, no one was talking about what was happening, although everyone knew, and by the end of the day the restructuring of world power was under way.
I am almost certain that John Kerry has dealt himself a great blow in refusing to respond, when offered a clear chance by Imus, to what is not simply allegations of the American Right, but a leading international story.
The American media has this day laid to rest any question as to what party they support. The networks have been running a story about President Bush's National Guard service for over a week without proof, today they won't print what is already documented fact in the rest of the civilized world. However, thanks to the internet, the efforts of such dubious media figures as Don Imus and everyone at the networks to destroy President Bush and coronate Sen. Kerry, the people now have the means of bypassing their mularkey and getting the real story.
Every hour that the American Media sits on this story, the deeper they sink into the twilight zone of irrelavence.
Today they decided to run the leading story as that of the loss of confidence in Pres. Bush. Now isn't that ironic.
Sen. Kerry has shown himself to be exactly the type of democrat we have expected in high office, of the last four Democratic president's three have quasi-admitted infidelity. Not unlike Gary Hart, Kerry's campaign will now in all likelihood be undone by his own marital infidelity, specifically his relationship with Alex Polier of Malvern, PA, currently resident in Kenya. The girl's father, four years younger than Kerry, has already clearly stated that the Senator is a sleazeball.
Perhaps the saddest aspect of this entire story is the disgrace brought upon Mrs. Heinz, who's husband, a Republican Pennsylvania Senator was killed in a midair collision only miles from where the Polier family lives.
No woman deserves to have such a traumatic experience on the day before Valentines day or any other day. I cannot express enough our sympathies for Mrs. Heinz and clear contempt for Sen. Kerry's unscrupulous activities.

Excellent rant...well written..thanks...for further verification, just look at the three undisputed facts, so far:
1. the lady fled to Africa...where there's NO cellular service..
2. Clark's comments to reporters..
3. Dean's sudden decision to reverse course and remain in the race no matter what..

Wow! Very profound. Especially since Kerry just happened to be scheduled for Friday ealier in the week and the I-Man got a denial out of him before most people were even out of bed. And, within minutes the notice that Imus put Kerry on is posted on one of the most popular sites in the World (drudge).
On top of all that, it's still a democrat fight. Conservatives should be in a 'wait and see' mode.
If this turns out to be a non-story no one will care. If there is more, Imus will not forgive him and it will only help W.
Everyone needs to take a deep breath.

Alex Polier is a reporter who, based on her articles is left of most Democrats but mainstream for a "journalist".
