OUT OF AFRICA: KERRY PREPARE RESPONSE TO MEDIA PROBE OF RELATIONSHIP
The Drudge Report ^ | 2/12/04 | Matt Drudge

**Exclusive**

Democratic presidential frontrunner John Kerry is planning a response to a DRUDGE REPORT exclusive which first revealed the frantic behind-the-scenes drama surrounding a woman who recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry!

The nature and details of a claimed two-year relationship, beginning in the Spring of 2001, between a young woman and Kerry is at the center of serious investigations at several media outlets.

After being approached by a top news producer, the woman fled to Africa, where she remains, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

Unlike the Monica Lewinsky drama, which first played out publicly in this space, with audio tapes, cigar and a dress, the Kerry situation has posed a challange to reporters investigating the claims.

"There is no lawsuit testimony this time [like Clinton with Paula Jones]," a top source said Thursday night. "It is hard to prove."

A close friend of the woman first approached a reporter late last year claiming fantastic stories -- stories that now threaten to turn the race for the presidency on its head.

Kerry is scheduled to appear on IMUS IN THE MORNING on Friday. Later he is scheduled to join General Wesley Clark, who, in an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue."

Reporters who witnessed Clark making the stunning comments marvel at the General's reluctance to later confirm they were spoken -- only to later endorse Kerry for the nomination!

I think tonight was the most surreal time I ever spent in my life.

Watching the host and talking heads on TV studiously avoiding the burning hot news story that broke today made me both amused and edgy. Like I was an inhabitant of two opposite worlds. Anyone else get this strange, disquieting feeling?

I can only imagine how the hosts and pundits felt, being under gag orders.

Hillary has NO chance of winning a Presidential..none. There are not that many stupid people in this country. No way.

Many people underestimate the amount of vote fraud that goes on in elections.

Name one president from the past century that didn't have "character flaws", ranging from extramarital affairs to cocaine binges to pot smoking to spying to illegal trading, money laundering ect....HO-HUM. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...

So then what character flaw would you accuse current President Bush of having? What were those of Ronald Reagan and the elder President Bush? How about Ford, Eisenhower, Hoover, Coolidge, and Taft? They made have made policy mistakes, but what specific noteworthy character flaws did each have?

Was just discussing that on another thread.....That's why she has the prenuptial....Running for office and a D-I-V-O-R-C-E do not mix. Granted Reagan was divorced, but it was in his past.

Someone week ago posted a comment that I filed in the back of my mind. Something to the effect that JFK sex life was more embarrassing the JFK and Clinton's combined......Just what we need another "It's just about Sex" president....Maybe we could bomb another aspirin factory?

They do it all the time, or at least usually with half of each story...

Clark has made a complete fool of himself.

Actually, I think Clark was just confirming God's handiwork....

You could tell that the corporate offices squashed this story on every network. The test will be Imus since his show is radio first, PMSNBC second. I still think Kerry will bail out. He can not afford to be live and gamble on a sound effect or lot's of Clinton cuts being played after he appears on the show.

Leni:

For some of them, perhaps most, it was a self-imposed gag order. As usual.

I just tried to get on www.cnn.com and it's down. Hmmm...?

Appears it's working now. Maybe it was a temporary wardrobe malfunction.

LOL. The donkeys certainly have a history of less than moral behavior....... My father calls them the "Party of Shame". Question: does the party attract the unmoral people or the people's support create the shameful behavior?

Do we even know for sure that Kerry's concubine is an American? Wouldn't it be fun if it was one of Teresa's
relatives?

Felt the same thing- imagine what we missed in the 70's and 80's when all we had were 3 news stations...

Kinda like the emporer has no clothes but everyone is afraid to say something...

The answer is actually your question. The "party" attracts, approves and encourages all of the above. Caligula is their figurehead.

BREAKING NEWS: CLARK'S SHOT! - AT KERRY!

Understanding the Stalking Horse Wesley Clark

"This article below is both polemical and accusatory; it is a stray from what I would normally write, but I think it needs to be said, you do not have to agree nor even like it. It troubles me enough to have written it. It was written months ago when Wesley Clark, a consummate “insider,” corporate player upon retirement, millionaire with a little help from his friends and stalking horse for the Bush family regime. Michael Moore has been made a fool of endorsing this man, but as is customary on the progressive Left, he will never admit error nor apologize, he is himself no less arrogant and puffed-up than Clark himself. I took the piece below off my website months ago and had only intended to run it with follow-ups had Clark miraculously gotten the nomination of the Democratic Party. But I never believed (as you will see in retrospect) he was running “to win” but running to see to it no other Democrat could pose a real threat to Bush & Company. His, Clark’s recent statements to the press immediately below give further and damning evidence that Clark is a life-long Bush Republican and Stalking Horse for Bush Junior. He leaves the Democratic race, stabbing the Democrat’s only (remaining) front runner in the heart over some bullshit “intern” Clinton-like issue: It’s Monica Lewinski all over again. He handed Bush the race, by handily handing Hannity Kerry’s head on Platter! Limbaugh, O’Reilly and Savage will savage Kerry; it will be felt all through the race; trickle-down will bleed Kucinich and Dean into pale weak obscurity. Brilliant move by Bush Senior....Absolutely the chess master’s Coup d’etat. I give you Matt Drudge’s Report:"
