U.S. military and Justice Department officials tell NBC News that a U.S. Army National Guardsman was taken into custody Thursday at Fort Lewis, Wash., and charged with attempting to pass intelligence information to the al-Qaida terrorist network.
The officials said that Anderson was caught up in a sting operation conducted jointly by the Army, the Justice Department and the FBI. Anderson, however, is currently being held and charged only by the Army. Anderson is a Muslim, officials said.

This punk sounds like another product of our liberal institutions that foment anti-American attitudes. If there was ever a reason to get rid of American-hating professors and teachers..this is it. From Jihad Johnny Walker to this trash, our own schools are producing a future generation that hates this country."Boy do I agree with you. Where else could this kid have picked this up? Time to start taking a look at his profs at WSU, and maybe the Everett School system. He's from a blue collar area, so it's unlikely his parents are of the same ilk as Jihad Johnny. Such a shame. He looks like a clean cut all-American kid. Must have been behind the door when loyalty and principles were given out. I'll bet his parents have been pulling their hair out over his "conversion." This will be interesting to follow. BTW, I still think they had the goods on Chaplain Yee too, but plea-bargained them down (for some unkn own reason.)

Yep...and take a look at some of his classes. They were Mid-East history and poli-sci. If you happen to have a professor who's sympathetic to Islam, I'm sure he was taught that the USA was one of the great evils in the world, oppressing the poor Muslims. When you have professors wishing a million Mogadishus on American soldiers, can there be any doubt where these attitudes are coming from? We are producing our own enemies from within. Sad...and freightening.

(Or is there a whole nest of them in Lacey, WA?) The South Sound nest is actually Fort Lewis, I'm sad to say. Fort Lewis army bedroom communities such as Lacey (Yee), and Tacoma (DC sniper Muhammad) are their residences.
The KEY IS ALWAYS THE MOSQUE, whether it is on an Army base, the largest one in Portland OR, or just an open room above a store 'front' in a bad Seattle neighborhood, such as Crescent Cuts on Rainier in Seattle.
There are plenty of places to openly meet dozens of radical muslims and 'palestinians' bent of Jew and American killing, for example a certain "Gyro-cery" in the 4100 block of University Way in the University district in seattle, but the KEY IS ALWAYS THE MOSQUE.

You can't trust Muslims. Ban all Muslims from service in our military, now.

Thank You for your Post # 40.
At least the Roman Pagans recognized the Traitors in their midst, now the USA has to do the Same and Effect the Proper Punishment for those Convicted of TREASON...
PUBLIC HANGING by the Neck Until DEAD.
Then again, the US Government can always get out OLD SPARKY and dust her off...!
CNN could carry the Executions LIVE...their Ratings would GO through the Roof and Beyond!

On April 13, 1961, U.S. Army Private John A. Bennett was hanged after being convicted of rape and attempted murder. That's a long time. I would really like to see them bring it back.

>>It's pretty clear that the only Muslims you can trust in the military are those who fled the Taliban or Saddam.
I'm not sure you can necessarily trust them. That's a made-to-order cover story.

The KEY IS ALWAYS THE MOSQUE, That does seem to be true.
I haven't seen anything in the press about this today (although it's still early, and I'm on the East Coast).
Keep us posted if anything else interesting crops up!
