SANAA, Yemen, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A purported statement by al-Qaida in Yemen warned Saturday of a "major strike" soon in the United States.
The statement, distributed by the Yemeni Tagamoo Party for Reforms, said: "A major strike, a big event will take place in America soon," reminiscent of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Good points. But that can't be an excuse to give up. Those are points where creativity needs to step in. I know you're right...believe me I am still trying!! :)))

Discovery Spotlight: The Hunt for Osama Bin Laden
Premieres on Discovery Channel on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The Hunt for OBL:
Where Has Osama Been Sighted?
Take a look at some of the key dates, people and places in the U.S. search for Osama bin Laden.
The Search for Osama Bin Laden
Six days after al Qaeda's terrorist attacks on New York and Washington killed 3,000 people, President George W. Bush proclaimed that he wanted to catch the group's leader, Osama bin Laden, "Dead or Alive." But in the 2 1/2 years since, the world's most wanted man has managed to avoid capture.
Believed to be hiding somewhere along the mountainous Afghan-Pakistan border, bin Laden has eluded U.S. and Pakistani soldiers aided by sophisticated high-tech weapons. Those weapons include robot aircraft equipped with video cameras and radar, which can beam a picture of a suspect to Pentagon officials thousands of miles away and eliminate him upon command with a heat-seeking missile.
On several occasions, U.S. officials have announced seeming breakthroughs, leading them to predict that the dragnet was closing on the top terrorist. Nevertheless, bin Laden continues to remain at large.
In a televised interview in early February, President Bush said that "we've got thousands of troops, agents, allies on the hunt" but declined to answer whether he knew where bin Laden might be. Here is a look at the search and why it thus far has been frustrating.

I'm with you Knak on the Canadian issue. When we last visited Canada just about every Canadian we met wanted to relocate to the States. They told us so. Now, years later, everywhere my husband has worked, Canadians are filling up the workforce. The Canadians, however, put Canadians First as their employment law. Something is wrong with the way we accept those Canadians to fill jobs unemployed Americans very well could do, especially in the engineering field.

Actually I am speaking about any number of employer groups: attorneys, doctors, dentists, airlines, financial institutions, brokerage firms, whatever is left of our manufacturing in the USA, on and on. The people who drive $50-$70,000 SUVs don't have a clue their workers have to scrimp to afford gasoline round trip to work. They are not the ones living on ramen noodles and macaroni and cheese. These tyrants get bonuses for reducing employees, employee wages and benefits. It isn't only the CEO's named in the news, it's all around us everywhere. Corporate America's version of terrorism: creatinig the fear of losing your job - happening now - every city.

Wouldn't those total body x-ray machines eliminate some of the doubt about what a woman is carrying underneath her clothing? If it saves lives, why not?

I used to frequent a recipe web site all the time with lots of Canadians on it, they all (about 90%) wanted to live in America. They ALL bad-mouthed canada. Canada never seems to be there for us unless it suits her own interests.

Why are they sending them back I wonder? Perhaps they believe that the coast is clear. I wondered the same thing. That is why I posted the article.
