The way it works in the pools I'm in is that you buy a box on a grid for a buck or 2 or 5 or whatever. Then they randomly pick numbers from 0 to 9 and assign them to the vertical and then to the horizontal axises.
I would've won if the Panthers score ended in 7 and the Patriots score ended in 0. (7-0 cats, 10-7 Pats, etc).
So right now at the half whoever has the box where Cats number =0 and Pats number = 4 .

Depending on how the second half pans out it could wind up a GREAT game to close a good/entertaining season. I have faith, the Pat's will win. It'd make up for the Sox heartbreak, and balance makes for good karma. ;-)

My wife and I had fresh cooked Dungeness Crab and the necessary accouterments plus a glass of Yellow Tail Shiraz for our 47th wedding anniversary. Happy anniversary, tubebender! Even during the 27-minute sleep fest, they were outplaying Carolina. So far, they deserve the win. The 2nd half will tell, though. Both teams seem to have woken up. (I have no favorite though. I'm a Steelers fan---even this year.) :-)
