"I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, wish he would try to do that with me."
I dream about things like this. Franken could benefit from a vertical butt-stroke with an M-14 rifle.

So why isn't Franken in jail for assault?

Sounds to me like Franken was bragging. Tackling a man's legs from behind and being out of breath afterwards sounds pretty pathetic. Franken nearly had a heart attack from just running across the room.
No Al, immitating WWE wrestling moves while standing in front of your TV doesn't qualify you to say you used to be a wrestler. What a Jackass.

I wonder if he would assault me. I'd give him a Jeet Kune Do lesson...
To: Bigg Red
So you physically prevent someone else's freedom of speech? I hope the victim sues big time. Me too. If I were the man he attacked, I'd file assault charges against him in addition to suing him. This is probably a preview of things to come in the next election. lol We were very close to this in the last election.

Anyone know if Al is going to be appearing in So Cal anytime soon? I could use the money.LOL! Go for it. The RATS are quick to attack. Remember this past year when they attacked the people who were with the Gray Recall movement in CA? They're all nuts.

he tussle left Franken's trademark thick-rim glasses broken, but he said he was not injured. How sad. That Fat Franken wasn't...you know....If a Republican would do something like that in a campaign, he'd be exported to Russia.
I'll say Dean and Franken are a good match. Both are nuts.

If a Republican would do something like that in a campaign, he'd be exported to Russia. "Some" say that this was the beginning of the end of Bill Baker of the California 10th, who lost to Ellen Tauscher in 1996:
From the San Francisco Chronicle 8/17/96 Scuffling Match at GOP Rally:
A Republican campaign support rally in San Ramon turned ugly yesterday afternoon when Representative Bill Baker charged from the podium to confront a protester, leading to a minor scuffle and the arrest of the protester. ...
``I was just standing there, peacefully, close to the front of the crowd holding a couple of (Democratic campaign) signs, when the congressman left the podium and came down and shoved me twice,'' said Terreri, 32, of San Francisco. ``I am still shocked.''

Oh, yeah, that is typical of the Rats' bullying tactics. There were Freepers assaulted in 2000, if you recall. I am afraid we can expect more of this. Maybe Franken is auditioning to be on Hitlery's "Etiquette Squad".

In Franken's warped view of things, if someone heckles your side, tackle them. What if someone throws a punch, Al? What then? Do you shoot them?
RATS are big on calling Bush a Nazi, but what does this say about them?

First of all, I'm a newbie here. So, for the first time, hi to all of you. Second of all...am I the only one who noticed that the Little Fat Boy tackled a guy from behind, and still got his glasses broken? The headline ought to read "Lefty wannabe tough guy gets his a** kicked"!
To: Miles Vorkosigan
First of all, I'm a newbie here.Welcome Miles. I've been here since '98. We all suffered through Clinton and Monica during those years. Yuck, what bad memories.
