Winnie Mandela had her soccer club; Howard Dean has Al Franken, eh? I think I'd file assault charages.

So you physically prevent someone else's freedom of speech?
I hope the victim sues big time.

One of the hallmarks of civility is now, and always has been body slamming.

Maybe John Edwards will take this personal injury suit and sue Franken for everything he's worth.

What a schmuck.
It's just a question of time before he ends up in prison, or the nut house.
If anyone else pulled the crap he gets away with, they'd already be incarcerated. But FrankenStein gets a free pass, because he's a foamy mouthed leftie.

"I got down low and took his legs out," said Franken afterwards. Sounds like what someone would say if they attended a Female Self-Defense class.

Indeed!
I wonder how he tackles himself when he blathers on like a volcano spewing hate and filth on some TV program that he's on simply b/c he enjoyed some early career success on SNL prior to dropping off into the abyss of anger and nonsense!

SO which is it?
Body slammed?
Grabbed legs?
I wish someone got this on tape.

"I'm neutral in this race but I'm for freedom of speech, which means people should be able to assemble and speak without being shouted down." That's hysterical coming from a statist. They can dish it out, but they simply can't take it.
I wonder how much Al is worth these days. I imagine his victim will soon have the particulars, and a good lawyer. Anyone know if Al is going to be appearing in So Cal anytime soon? I could use the money. :^)

Franken emerged from the crowd and charged one male protester, grabbing him with a bear hug from behind and slamming him onto the floor. Brave man, that Franken. Nothing proves courage, bravery, integrity than an unprovoked attack on a man while his back is turned. Isn't this considered 'assault'?

As humiliating as it would be to be injured by this loser, I'd charge him with assault, sue for injuries, and for Civil Rights violations (infringing on my Freedom of Speech).

At least Rush is dead on the money! These guys are an absolute hoot when they are not in power and more particularly when any power they do have is threatened! The injuries to the man notwithstanding.
